It's been a couple weeks since Acid was patched in as an official member of the club. It's been a hard adjustment on lavender, but I know that acid stops by to see her whenever he's off of work or in between club business. Her new guard is fury's half brother, Skull. The kids good at the job but he's very serious on duty meaning he refuses to talk and joke around with Lav.
That hasn't stoped Lav from trying though, she's always babbling to him about anything that comes to her mind. The kid remains stone faced though. Hopefully the kid will loosen up with time. I'm pretty sure if anyone can get through to him it's Lavender. Lav has been on call at all hours with her midwife apprenticeship, apparently babies come at any hour. It definitely seems like they like coming in the middle of the night.
I will admit Lavender has become so confident throughout her apprenticeship. The day after acids patch in ceremony , lav told me all about how earlier that day she had delivered her first baby as a midwife in training. The way her eyes shined told me my wife found her passion, and it's helping bring new little humans into the world.
Since then she has delivered five more little babies , each time she returns she practically drops into bed and hibernates. I never realized she would experience an adrenaline high during the births so much so that she would drop afterwards.
So while my Lav has been busy and tired , I have been plotting and planning a surprise for her with the help of the girls. Today is the big day , I'm marrying my beautiful wife, lavender again . I'm surprising lavender with her dream wedding right here on the compound. After I watched her reaction at my sister Noella's wedding . I realized lavender wanted to experience that too, the dream wedding .
So I started plotting, I found the best wedding planner on Long Island and hired him. I roped my brothers on the council in on helping me pull this off. Then a few weeks into the plans the girls ambushed me at work one day after a brunch they had with lavender. Apparently my little one had been expressing how much she wanted a wedding. So I roped the girls in , I had them pulling details out of lavender and had them feed it to the wedding planner.
I also wanted to give Lavender something else at the wedding , I wanted to give her a ring. When we had gotten married at the courthouse venom had gotten us simple gold bands that cost like a hundred bucks. Real simple little things , so I wanted to get something that was more lavenders style. So I worked with a jeweler and we designed the perfect ring for my wife.
I also know the girls tricked lavender into buying me a ring that she designed, and to give to me as a gift on our six month anniversary. Which is today by the way. I still can't believe it's been six months since I not only met lavender but married her. It's felt like a lifetime since then.
I've invited her mothers entire family, I even arranged for her grandfather to walk her down the aisle. He cried when I asked him to, I had learned that his daughter and lavenders mother Dorothy hadn't had a wedding just a courthouse wedding. So I know this will mean a lot to Dutton , getting to walk his daughters , daughter down the aisle.
