"I am home, ma" Joshua climbed up the stairs, and threw his bag on the rusty floor. "Maa. Maa?" Opened and closed a lot of doors, but still no answer. As soon as he heard a knock downstairs, he ran back.
"Maa. Where are you?" The blood rush is for absolutely nothing. He just wanted to see his mother after school. He saw a shadow on the semi-transparent door. He walked towards the door to open it before the person did.
"Who, who are you?"
"Hello. Is this Mr.Hao's residence?" The shadow was a 6 ft man standing with a bouquet in hand.
Joshua's father love married his mother and ran away from his house at a very young age. He was a soldier. He was not ready to start a family but he met his mother during a training programme. She was the trainer. He used to tell them that he was ready to place the whole world at her feet if she threw a smile.
"Yes, yes sir" Joshua looked right into the flowers searching for a name.
"There is a mail for Mrs.Hao from Mr.Hao. I am from Eternal Flower Boutique. These are pre-ordered flowers for loved ones. Can you sign on behalf of Mrs.Hao?"
"Sure, where should I sign?" Joshua grabbed the flowers on the other hand and walked away as soon as he signed. "Thank you, sir"

For my dearest Honeybee! I am so happy. You are the best flower to ever bloom. You're my everything.
With Love,
Hao

Honeybee is such a sweet name. His grandparents would have seen his mother's sweet smile at birth and named her right. Joshua smiled at the flowers, held the note tight, and continued to search for his mother. The doorbell rang again. Joshua wished it was his mother. He couldn't wait to show the flowers. This time around, it was her shadow.
"Maa, Guess what came in the mail today?" Joshua hid the note behind him.
"Was that from your father?"
"How did you even know?"
"Today is the day, we first met, Your father and I" Honeybee smiled at him. Joshua was happy to see his mother smile. His father was telling the truth every single time.
"Now, where were you?"
"I went to the cemetery" Joshua held his mother's hand.
"I just wanted to talk to him, alone. After all, today is our special day"
"We could go together, next time" Joshua took her to the living room to show the flowers.
"I can't believe you still receive flowers from him for every occasion, still" His eyes teared up. "He really loves you still, mom"
Honeybee took the note and held the flowers in her hand, took a sniff. The flowers reminded her of all the beautiful moments with him. She still remembers the day he walked into the training program with his eyes following her everywhere. She threw a little smile and turned around towards Joshua.
"He is my angel" Honeybee walked away as Joshua stood there. He was wondering how someone could love anyone beyond life.
