Love is free

"Finger sandwiches? Oh, I love them. Give me some, Mel" One of my friends grabbed it from the basket. Yes, we are here on a picnic. My friends Merlin, Luca, .... Oh my god, 9 people are here.

"I love sunny weather. It is so peaceful out here. I wonder how it would be inside a corporate building right now"

"Hey, don't put down one choice for another. Sitting here on a cloudy Tuesday morning is a privilege."

"She is right. It is a choice and a decision. It is also a situation. We can't really shame the corporate people"

"My bad. I am sorry. So, let us talk about our books"

"Oh, I am reading Dostoevsky."

"Poor folk?"

"No, I guess it is "The Double"

"How, How do you know?"

"I was there when you bought it"

"Guys, look there is a cloud in the shape of a butt"

"Oh, yeah. I see it"

"Where?"

"Right there, dumbo"

"Oh, it looks cool. Take a picture"

"I saw a meme"

"What meme?"

"Wait, let me send it in the group chat"

"Oh my god, I can't stop eating these sandwiches. Who made it?"

"My mom."

"I guessed right. She is on her game these days. That day, the pot roast. I gasped out loud"

The blanket was already full of good food. Good people. The place was very breezy. Since it was a weekday, only a few people were roaming around the park. This is such a green park. My friends and I decided to take a day off and just sit and rejuvenate. Such a smart decision. Look at us. Nine of us. We are here with a little bit of humans and a lot of humor.

I see an elderly couple cozying up near us. They brought a blanket too. They are sitting there with popsicles in their hand. I guess, love is that. I see some kids with their nannies. They are all blowing bubbles and fighting over each other. Who gets to break the bubbles? Such a fun game. She is struggling yet laughing out loud. Such is love. We all caught Love. Sabrina quoted right.

Love is like a cold. We can't stay beside love and just not get it. It spreads like wildfire, especially in an open space.

"I saw this movie "Forest"

"A movie?"

"Yeah, such serenity. It is a Korean film. So much peace out of it"

"We should all watch it together."

"Oh, I watched it too. It is about that girl who moves...."

"Stop, no spoilers. I want some suspense"

"There is no suspense."

"I want a raw experience."

"Yeah, she is right. Don't tell the storyline. Trailers and Motion trailers spoil it enough for me. I can't stop myself from seeing all these spoilers."

"This feels good. We should do it one time in a pool"

"Yeah"

"True"

"I want that"

"Me too. Swimming pool hangouts are the best"

"It will be very cold"

"Yes, joykill. But you can sit on the rim"

"Yeah. Just be there basking in the sun"

"Okay"

"When?"

"Next week"

"I can't talk another day off. Make it over the weekend"

"Let us discuss this in the chat. Now, let us eat"

"Mac and cheese. I brought mac and cheese"

"I got chips"

The list goes on and on. It doesn't stop. The bags are full. The hearts are full. I am happy. Somewhat free. There are so many dreams, circumstances, and sadness on the table. We chose to talk about the mundane today.

Love is free. Love is freeing.
