Love in simple things

Love is comforting

"Can you please bring me my newspaper?"

"Sure"

"Thank you"

"Here you go, your coffee"

"Hmmm. The aroma is amazing"

"Call it, the coffee smell"

"The aroma is the right word"

"Okay. I was just kidding"

"I know. Where is your coffee?"

"I am not going to drink coffee, today"

"Why? Did you give up your beloved coffee? It was your comfort."

"Exactly"

"Why do you want to give up on coffee?"

"Because I don't like how energetic I am every day. I want to lay low for a few days"

"Your wish. I didn't know you could do this lay low routine"

"Why?"

"I don't know. I just thought you would not function without it."

"Just shut up and encourage me"

"Okay"

"Did you know my uncle is coming home for the weekend?"

"Wow, seriously?"

"Yes"

"We could escape somewhere this weekend."

"It seems like a good plan but I can't escape him"

"He is coming here to talk about my property"

"You are handling too much of your family issues"

"My brother just wouldn't do it for us."

"Why did he go back to the US?"

"His family wanted him to come back. My sister-in-law had some visa issues so nobody visited my father during his last days"

"Now, he is not participating in the property issues too"

"I can't go and argue. I don't have any energy"

"You should stay away from this. Anyone who asks about the money should take it with your brother"

"I can't wrap my head around anything. Can we go out somewhere?"

"Sure. We could go to dinner and maybe dance the night away"

"That sounds amazing."

"I have like two restaurant options with music and a dance party today. I will send you on Instagram. You can choose one and I will make the reservation."

"What kind of music?"

"Nach Punjab."

"Say no more"

"We are going to have fun tonight. I will choose two beautiful outfit choices for you and fill up petrol. Before that, I will go to the bank and come back soon."

"Can you come back soon? I need to go buy some groceries"

"We can go together or you give me the list"

"Are you sure?"

"Do you want to go?"

"No. I don't want to go anywhere. I want to watch a movie and just lie down"

"Sure, you do that. I will buy our usual grocery."

"Buy the weekly grocery. I will go for the monthly. I don't feel good about a lot of products. I am changing the detergent and washing liquid"

"Sure. I will go to the weekly grocery. Anything else?"

"Can you pay the bills?"

"I paid for everything already. The milkman, Electricity, Our electrician everyone"

"Thank you so much"

"It is our duty. I will take care. Don't worry"

"Come here" She kissed him on his forehead. "You have no idea how much I needed you until I got you"

"We both need each other. I love you"

"I love you too"

A short morning cup of coffee and this lovely comforting conversation are all we need.
