If someone would've told Hayami that she'd became the manager of a volleyball team she wouldn't have believed them.
And there she was.
Becoming a manager, a teammate, a friend, a sister.
But mostly, an ice skater.
A strong one.
A National Star.
She...

"What?! Summer camp? Transfer in other cities? Play with other teams?", Hayami's eyes were sparkling, "That's so cool, guys!"
"You'll come with us everywhere, Yuki!", Yaku grinned, sending her a thumbs up.
"Uh?", she was surprised, "That's also what a manager had to do?"
"Of course, Yukimura," Nekomata sensei nodded, "you're both free to come, if your practice consents it, or stay home to train more."
Hayami noted that in her mind, scanning the calendar on the coaches's desk. It was filled with commitments written in red ink.
"Can I take a picture?", she pointed her long nail at it.
Kuroo nudged his chin towards her, "Go ahead, girl."
She quickly snapped a pic with her phone, sending it to Usagi to confront her about their schedule.
In less than one month they would have a little trip to Myagi for a friendly game with another high school: Karasuno.
Her hands tingled about that; she was curious to observe the boys playing against different players. All that manager's job was extremely exciting for her.
"You look ready to jump into outer space, Mura", Kuroo lightly pulled one of her blue braids, returning her mind to Earth.
"I'm sorry, I'm just excited! Are these guys good? Did you ever meet them?", she asked, tapping on the Karasuno's name.
"No idea, ma'am," Kai replied, "but, if I studied Nekoma's history right, they're supposed to be our 'rivals', right?"
"Rivals?", she tilted her head, turning to Nekomata, "Like Harry Potter and Voldemort? That style of rivals?", she covered her mouth with her hands, "Sorry, I feel very stupid right now."
But the boys were all giggling at her question, some trying hard not to burst out laughing.
"WOW! THAT'S A GOOD REFERENCE YUKIMURA-SAN!", Lev pointed at Hayami, totally unaware of the embarrassment she was feeling, lightening her by agreeing with her nerdy came out.
"You should stop adding that 'san' after my name," she changed subject, "it makes me feel old!"
The boy nodded, giving her a serious look, "I'll do my best to avoid that! Swear!"
"Thanks."
"Anyway," Nekomata smiled at the girl, making her turn her attention to him, "we're kinda those types of rivals. But it's a long story."
Hayami's eyes shimmered, "I love long story."
"For another time, Yukimura."
She felt the emotions leaving her body like a punctured balloon, "Alright", she pouted, closing her eyes.
Kenma sent her a look from behind his other teammates, shaking his head at her childishness.
