If someone would've told Hayami that she'd became the manager of a volleyball team she wouldn't have believed them.
And there she was.
Becoming a manager, a teammate, a friend, a sister.
But mostly, an ice skater.
A strong one.
A National Star.
She...

"Why are you looking at us with that...face?"
"Yeah, something's wrong?"
"Not a word."
Kenma had still one eye closed, "What?"
Lev turned at his teammates, his eyes were both closed, "I don't see any problem."
"You're not watching at all, Lev", coach Naoi sipped his coffee, trying to contain his smile.
On the other hand, Hayami had her lips pressed together, trying to suppress the laugh that the scene in front of her was about to cause.
Kuroo didn't walk toward his manager, just slid on the pavement, crunching down to her height, "Are you perhaps finding something funny?"
Shaking her head, she bit one of her strawberries, "Nope. Everything's fine."
Yaku copied Kuroo, studying the girl, "Are you sure?"
Hayami had to snap on the other side to avoid facing them, "Of course."
The chair beside her scratched, "Doesn't look like it, though."
Not expecting Kenma to intervene, she covered her face with her hands, "Oh c'mon, are you for real now?"
Yamamoto came to the rescue, "Leave the princess alone, you dirty boys!"
"Princess?"
"Dirty boys?"
"Thanks, Yamamoto", she continued staring at her breakfast, his friend's mohawk so flat that she couldn't look at him.
But Kuroo and Yaku didn't listen to him, pressing their sleepy faces closer to Hayami, Fukunaga, and Inuoka copying their senpai, "So?"
Hayami side-eyed them, not able to contain herself anymore.
Her shoulders started to shake, letting the laugh she was trying so hard to suppress finally escape from her mouth.
The boys had the worst bed hair she had ever seen on someone's head, and once she saw them coming to breakfast in those conditions, her expression must've been priceless.
"Guys, you're all usually very handsome, but...", her laugh was unstoppable, "...I'm so sorry, I can't stop!"
"H-handsome?!", Yamamoto's face grew red in less than five seconds, his heart felt like it could stop for the compliment.
Kuroo smirked, rubbing his eyes, "Don't you like our new looks?", he tried to fix some of his locks, failing, "Yamamoto, don't pass out, jeez."
Kai sent the captain a thumbs up, helping the poor second-year to sit, "I've got it."
Hayami took a deep breath, finally facing some of them, "You're rocking this style, my boys", she touched Yaku's short hair, twirling it around her fingers, doing her best to place them nicely around his head and out of his eyes.
