"A picnic?!"

"A picnic?!"

"If you want. Saturday."

"I love picnics!"

"Okay."

"Oi! I didn't ask if you liked the pie!"

Kenma waited a few moments 'fore replying.

The day before, right after practice, Lev shouted his name the moment he stepped foot in the changing room, pointing at a big nicely wrapped bag near his stuff.

"Someone left a present for you!"

"It's not 'someone', you moron!", Yaku's forehead vein popped, "It's Yuki!"

"How do you know?!", Inuoka was curious about the sweet smell coming out of it.

"I'm a psychic," he rolled his eyes, "or I can simply read."

A light blue note was attached to the bag, where Hayami's name was the most visible thing written.

'I maintain my word! Always! Hayami.'

That must've been the surprise she talked about that morning.

"What's that?", Kuroo tried to take the bag, but Kenma was faster, sneaking under his arm and snatching it, taking a few steps away from his friend to peek inside it.

The smile plastered on his lips said all Kuroo needed to know.

"Bet you won't share it with us, don't you?"

Kenma jealously shook his head, closing the bag, "Guessed right."

"Oh, c'mon!", Yaku joked, starting to sense something too.

Could their cold-hearted setter be warming up to that little girl?

But the boy didn't even hear him, simply going back to strip and change back into his school uniform, Kuroo did the same as fast as he could to follow Kenma out of the changing room.

"Why such hurry today?!", he had short legs, but they were working quicker than usual.

"I'm tired."

"You're running!"

"I'm not."

"Hell yes, you are!"

"Use those long legs, then."

"I kinda hate you right now! I used them all practice!"

"Just keep using them or I'll leave you behind."

Kuroo had to take three long steps to reach him, whistling, "Apple pie?"

Kenma side-eyed him, humming.

"So, she cooks for you now."

"Stop it."

"Gimme a reason."
