"Excuse me?"

"You can't be serious, right now."

"Swear on my mother."

"God bless your mom, then."

"Hey, I'm not lying!"

"C'mon Mura, don't play with us!"

"I already told you I'm serious!"

"Girl, that's not possible!"

"17 years without taking a train? You really think we would believe that?"

"I'm not pulling your leg!", Hayami huffed, "I'm practically born with rollers on my feet! Never needed anything else to move from one place to another!"

The boys looked at her with their mouths open, shocked at the revelation she told them while buying the train ticket.

Hayami wasn't lying though, she never used a train, a bus, or a metro in her entire life. She took airplanes, sure, but most of the time, her parents drove her to the furthest places. For anything else, she had her rollers with her. Or her skateboard. Or the bike.

So, that was a first experience for her. She was fascinated by the station and all the chaos that surrounded it. People were running, talking on the phones, drinking coffee waiting for their train, giggling with friends, and pointing at the funny advertising on the vending machine, everything was somewhat magic in her eyes, despite the dirty angles, the loud kids screaming and the slightly annoying noise of the trains' brakes.

Kenma was standing next to his friends, all watching down at their manager, the only one sitting on the gray platform's bench. He remained silent while Hayami talked about her non-experience with public transport, not surprised at all by that.

He always had that idea of her: she was the perfect combination of independent soul with supportive parents, so clearly, she never needed those vehicles.

"Still, I can't believe it," Kuroo shook his head, "I feel like a father accompanying his daughter to take her first train!"

Some boys chuckled, leaving Hayami to cross her legs and roll her eyes.

"Hey! No bullying for your manager!"

"Not bullying," Yaku lightly kicked her right foot, "just making fun of you. A little bit."

"A little bit?"

Kai showed her his index and thumb almost touching, "Itty bitty."

Hayami's eyes get bigger, "Kai, you too?"

"Really touching the bottom here, if Kai's intervene", Fukunaga mumbled.

Yamamoto placed his body in front of Hayami, legs and arms stretched out, "I'll be your defender, Yukimura!"

She patted his bag, "Thanks, Yamamoto. At least I still have you!"

"Me too, ma'am!", Lev raised his hand and Inuoka followed him too.
