If someone would've told Hayami that she'd became the manager of a volleyball team she wouldn't have believed them.
And there she was.
Becoming a manager, a teammate, a friend, a sister.
But mostly, an ice skater.
A strong one.
A National Star.
She...

Hayami didn't think she would be back at Shiratorizawa, but Semi suggested she come and take a look at her pupil after 8 p.m.
She wasn't sure what he meant by that, but once she peered inside the gym, watching the rookies still practicing with Shoyo too, she felt her lips stretching in the proudest smile. Hinata was growing faster than she could imagine, analyzing the situation and appearing where the ball would fall perfectly in time. He could read block too, shocking her and Tsukishima, who remained more that night too.
Goshiki was the first one to notice her, "Oh! Your girlfriend is here...", he was damn jealous a shrimp like him got such a pretty girl before him. The world was really spinning on the opposite side.
Shoyo didn't understand that look at first, turning his head to the gym's entrance, finally spotting her. He smiled before Goshiki's words made their way inside his brain, an embarrassed gasp escaping his mouth.
"My...what?!", he shook his hands in front of his red face, "No! No, no, no! Hayami is not..."
"Oh, she's not?", Tsukishima, being the bitch he was, was looking down at him with a fake-confused face, "I thought she was."
"Trust me, I thought I was too", Hayami blabbered, slowly walking outside the court's bylines, shedding a fake tear in the process, hearing Tsukishima snarling quietly.
"WHAT?! NO! YOU GUYS...!", Shoyo's cheeks were matching Hayami's jacket now, his hands furiously rubbing his eyes and hair.
Hayami's giggles were so adorable that most of the boys watching the scene were about to pass out from her cuteness; Tsukishima was the only one not knocking off his feet for her, already used to that side of the girl.
"I'm joking," she declared, zipping down her jacket, "is it inappropriate if I ask you to join you guys? I'm not a pro but I'm a pretty decent libero."
Shoyo stopped fusing and took off his hands from his face, jumping to her, "YES! PLAY WITH US!", he was close enough to permit Hayami to ruffle his hair and kiss his cheek.
"Are you sure?", Kindaichi was scared she could get hurt, "We're not here to hit lighter, we must become stronger."
"Then use this moment as a test," she grinned, sending him a thumbs up, "I can take all your strong spikes. But if they're weak," her eyes darkened, "I would scold you and make you re-do it again and again. I'm not here to drag you down."
Tsukishima was the first one to speak, "Yukimura-san is strong."
Everyone knew the middle blocker was a boy of a few words, and if he was using them to praise that girl, that surely meant something.
Koganegawa was more pumped up than ever, "Then let's play, you girl! Yukimura-san, right?"
"Just Yuki is fine or whatever," she clapped her hands, "so, I'mma playing against you Karasuno's boys, 'kay? Just to add some spice."
