"Guys! Look!"
"What now, Lev?"
"Is that Yaku-san?"
"AND YUKI!"
They shushed Bokuto, peeking inside the gym, and spying on the sleeping duo on the floor.
"They can't sleep here," Inuoka pointed at them, "or tomorrow they'll have a hard time using their backs!"
"You're right, kid," Kuroo stepped inside, Bokuto beside him, wanting to help, "hey, Yaku," he didn't crunch, just used his foot to shake his friend, knowing how of a light-sleeper he was, "man, wake up."
That was enough for the libero to open one eye, "Is this a nightmare?", his groggy voice asked, looking at the teams' captains staring at him from above.
Kuroo rolled his eyes, "C'mon, we must take Hayami into her room."
"She's still sleeping?" he caressed her hair, moving it away from her face. He noticed her eyes still closed, her slow breathing, and her mouth slightly open. "I want her superpower."
Kuroo sighed, ready to have his heart shattered a bit more also that night, but Bokuto was faster crunching down and lifting up her friend without a noise.
"Leave it to me," he had never spoken so softly in his entire life, or at least, that was what Kuroo thought, "goodnight, guys, see you tomorrow, yeah?"
Yaku grabbed the hand Kuroo was giving him, standing up with a jump, "Yeah man, thanks."
"Thank you, Kotaro", Kuroo and Bokuto didn't usually use each other first names, but for that, he deserved it.
Bokuto grinned, "No prob, man, still," he started walking backward, "I'm still mad at you for not mentioning me neither once with her. Asshole."
"So, she didn't fool you, mh?"
"No, but she tried hard, I appreciated," he winked at Akaashi, "I'll be back soon."
"I know, Bokuto-san. Be careful with Yukimura-san, okay?", he tucked one of Hayami's arms up on her lap, while Bokuto was carrying her like a doll.
"Don't worry about it!"
And said that, he started walking to the girls' dorms, just to switch paths a few meters before, directed towards a little hill near the school, smiling at the sky.
"I know you're awake," he mumbled, "lazy ass."
"I'm not lazy," Hayami replied, pressing her cheek more on his chest, "I just like being carried to bed. Like when I was a kid. I feel so secure."
Bokuto chuckled.
"How did you know?"
"Saw your smile when Yaku said he wanted your superpowers," he confessed, "so, I snatched you out of Kuroo's arms."
