"Hayami's laaate again", Kuroo announced, gaining loud grunts in return, while the boys started walking inside the bus.
"She'll be able to reach us at the beach?", Fukunaga asked the captain.
"Of course, it's Hayami," he texted her back, "let's go, they're all waiting for us!"
"Yeah, captain."
Kenma shook his head, feeling his phone buzzing in the pocket of his shorts.
'Pls don't hate me! I'll be there in less than thirty! Swear it.'
His mouth twisted, typing back a reply.
'Already hating you. I'm here just because you forced me.'
'Sooo sorry! I'll be there! I swear! And we'll swim together.'
'We won't.'
'We will.'
He blocked the screen and entered the bus, taking the spot next to Kuroo as usual.
"Ready for this wonderful day?", Kuroo slid his sunglasses on his nose, leaning on his best friend.
"No", Kenma was fast answered, trying to escape Kuroo's body, but the seat eventually trapped him between his friend and the fabric.
"Oh c'mon!", he let his head fall on Kenma's chest, "The sun, the sand, the ocean, a really specific girl in a bikini..."
"Kuroo, I don't care about Yami in a bikini."
"I never said her name."
He rolled his eyes, "You only care about her, speaking about girls."
"We never speak about girls."
"Yeah, just about Yami."
They shut their mouths until the bus started moving.
"Bet she'll jump straight in the ocean once she arrives."
"With clothes on?"
"Yeah, maybe rollers too."
"Bet she'll tuck down Yaku first."
"That's a good one too", Kuroo agreed, returning to a normal seated position to avoid breaking his neck during the trip.
"Guess we'll have our answers once she reaches us."
"I guess."
Hayami was sweating.
She skated half of the road and ran the other one, 'cause the sand was starting to get into her rollers even if she was still in the street.
She had a short, summer dress on, that was fluttering all over her body, no shoes on, and the hot cement burning her feet.
