If someone would've told Hayami that she'd became the manager of a volleyball team she wouldn't have believed them.
And there she was.
Becoming a manager, a teammate, a friend, a sister.
But mostly, an ice skater.
A strong one.
A National Star.
She...

"NISHINOYAAA!", Hayami screamed, jumping up the chair, Yamamoto and Yaku doing the same, screaming at the screen where the Karasuno's libero was finally able to catch one of Ushijiama's deadly kill shots.
They were all collected in the gym, where Nekomata sensei suggested watching the Karasuno's game against Shiratorizawa. No one was able to concentrate at their best while thinking about that damn match and the coaches were curious too; Naoi brought a TV from the computer's lab in the school, and placed it near the benches, while the boys collected some chairs, so now they were pressed against the screen, more frustrated than happy.
That Shiratorizawa was pure hell, Ushijima was the worst demon of them all. Hayami noticed three things about him: he was left-handed, his teammates were doing everything to cover up for him so that his main focus could be hitting down the ball with his powerful spike, and he could make his arms fly away with a single hit.
In the first set, Karasuno's boys collected only 16 miserable points, which were caused by nervousness, anxious shots, and a bit of scare. They needed to go back to being determined as soon as they could, or it would be the end of them.
"I can't decide who's the scariest one", Lev felt shivers running down his spine, watching those big guys score another point.
"Huh, I can", Hayami was back in her chair, watching Shoyo's spike being stopped once again.
"Who do you think it is?", Kuroo had an idea, but he wanted her to say it out loud.
She pointed at number 5, a tall boy with spiky red hair, "He. What's his name? Tendō?", she tried to hear what their cheerleaders were shouting, half getting his name, "Yeah, Tendō."
"The middle blocker?!", Yamamoto shook his head, "Why? He didn't stand out at all..."
While he was finishing his sentence, number 5 stopped Kageyama's spike and then Shoyo one more time, pissing off the freak duo.
"Well, y'know what? I take it back", he raised his hands, slumping on the chair.
"I agree with you, Mura," Kuroo nodded, "that's quite a guess blocker. The worst type out there", he was grinning while singing the praises for the player.
"Jeez, he seemed ready to block the balls all by himself," Hayami shook her head, feeling drawn to that behavior, knowing he had something of her mindset inside his, somehow, "not the best idea, but still."
"You should always relate to your teammates", Kai pocked her forearm.
Smiling, she briefly nodded her head, "Yeah", but her thoughts took another path.
If you know you're great, sometimes, the better thing is to work out shit with your own power.
Unfortunately, that mindset was hard for her to get rid of.
"Well, let's see how Tsukki's gonna react to that guess monster", Kuroo nudged his chin at Tsukishima, who was making his way inside the court, positioning himself right in front of Tendō, an indecipherable expression painted on his face.
