If someone would've told Hayami that she'd became the manager of a volleyball team she wouldn't have believed them.
And there she was.
Becoming a manager, a teammate, a friend, a sister.
But mostly, an ice skater.
A strong one.
A National Star.
She...

"Well, since you have all the boys here, we'll be out tonight, is it okay for you?", her mom caressed her hair, peering at the volleyball team in their back garden setting the table to eat all together.
Her father turned, shocked, "We're leaving her with all those tall, muscular, hot boys?", he nodded his head, "We're such cool parents, aren't we?"
After the competition, the boys who came to watch her all went to Kuroo's home to refresh themselves and let Hayami celebrate with her parents, while they were waiting for dinner time and the rest of the Nekoma's team, who were at practice till late as always.
Hayami hugged her mom, "Thank you."
Kissing her daughter's cheek, she started to remind her where the food they previously cooked was and in which bento she could find rice. The dessert was in the freezer, since they opted for an ice-cream cake, and the salmon was in the oven.
A light knock made the family stop talking; Fukunaga stood on the door's frame, smiling at Hayami.
"Do you need help?", he was the sweetest sarcastic boy ever.
Lin went to him, positioning her hands on his shoulders, "You also have a sous chef!"
Hayami invited him to stand next to her and Fukunaga slid beside his friend, letting her rest her arm on his shoulders, "You're right," she waved at the adults, "we'll see you later, then!"
"Exactly!", her mom clapped her hands and turned her heels, "Bye-bye, boys! Have a nice night!", she waved at them.
They quickly waved back, thanking them for their hospitality and wishing them a good evening.
The duo had to pass through a sea of shoes to exit the house.
"Do you think we need to buy twenty pairs of slippers?", Lin asked Daigo, closing the door behind their backs.
The man sighed, "I'm afraid so..."
"BOKUTO, STOP STEALING FOOD FROM MY KITCHEN!"
"I'M NOT!"
"Huh?! I saw you too!"
"You should be on my side!"
"Mura is prettier, I'm sorry man."
Lin closed her eyes, smiling brightly, "Aren't you calmer now?"
Knowing how hard was for Hayami to live a normal, teenage life, he got what his wife was asking him.
"Yeah, definitely."
Inside the home, Yaku, Kai, Fukunaga, Akaashi, and Shibayama were all helping Hayami divide the food into plates and bowls, bringing out the drinks from the fridge, along with two bottles of wine, enough to fill all glasses and make a toast to celebrate.
"Your mom cooked all this food for us?", Yamamoto was shocked.
The table was dressed with all kinds of dishes: yakimeshi with salmon, onigiri of different shapes, cold soba with beef, potato salad, cucumbers salads toom okonomiyaki with mayonnaise, green onion, and what smelled like fried white fish and miso soup with veggies. There was something for everyone.
