For the next two weeks, the boys and Hayami lived between their practice and school, putting everything they had in them to grow stronger and not fail the exams.
They had zero spare time to hang out, just some occasional study 'dates' and ice cream late at night after practice, so they were more than happy to return to camp.
This time, they were at Shinzen High School, and the Nekoma was the one in charge of greeting Karasuno once again.
"Hayami!"
"Shoyo!"
The duo ran into each other's arms, squeezing themselves in the tightest hug, jumping around, glad to be reunited.
"Hey, Kenma! Hey, hey!", Shoyo let her go after she stamped a kiss on his cheek, running to his friend, "Where's the sky tree? Is that the Tokyo Tower?"
Hayami giggled, remembering Noya and Tanaka's first time in Tokyo, the same exact conversation repeating in her head.
"Y'know, that conversation sounds familiar," Kuroo elbowed Sawamura, "what, don't you have cell towers up in Miyagi?"
"Every cell in Tokyo is going to look like the Tokyo Tower to us country bumpkins!", Daichi used the wrong words to defend his boys, making Suga sigh.
"That's an insult, y'know. And this is Saitama, not Tokyo."
So, that is not the Tokyo Tower, Kageyama thought, biting his tongue to avoid saying it out loud. But something else inside him was urging him to open his mouth.
"Yukimura-san," he called her, interrupting the conversation she was keeping with their senpais, "can...we talk for a moment? Please."
Kuroo sent the boy a confused look, "Hey, your first year is hitting on my friend here?", he asked Daichi.
"Kageyama would never!", the captain rolled his eyes, yet he was surprised too.
"No, he wouldn't," Hayami patted Kuroo and Kai's chests, passing between them to reach Kageyama, "let's go, follow me."
Passing near gym 1, she noticed Bokuto taking a break, texting someone who leaned on the doorframe. Feeling someone staring, he lifted his gaze, meeting Hayami's eyes.
They waved at each other, sending lots of kisses, and making Akaashi chuckle.
"So, what's wrong?", Hayami asked Kageyama, stopping in a private spot.
The boy quickly bowed, his bag hitting the ground from the sudden move, "I'm really sorry for what happened that night. I shouldn't have hit that idiot or screamed. I understood my mistakes and I tried to work on changing my mind. I thought about what you told me, and you were right. On everything. So, please. I'm asking you to forgive me and...keep giving me the correct advice," his head never moved from that position, "please..."
