October came faster than September and the last practice match between schools happened.

"So, this is our last day."

"I guess you're right."

Kuroo and Daichi blinked, tilting their heads.

"You're not gonna die, jeez."

"Yeah, Hinata, you can always meet up with Yukimura outside the court."

But the duo was already crying in each other arms.

And they just arrived.

"I'LL MISS YOU SO MUCH, SHOYO!"

"I'LL MISS YOU MORE, HAYAMI!"

"I can't believe I'm witnessing this tragedy", Kuroo shook his head.

Daichi sighed even deeper when he noticed who was coming too, "I'll guess we're about to watch the second act."

"MY DISCIPLE! MY LOVE!", Bokuto had tears rolling down his cheeks already, his arms open, ready to catch his favorite first and second year (well, right after Akaashi, but that was another topic).

"BOKUTO-SAN!"

"KŌTARŌ!"

"OH MY GOD, FIRST NAME BASE, I'M ABOUT TO COLLAPSE!" he actually did that, taking down the duo with him, making Hayami giggle, pressed on his muscular chest, and hearing how loud his heart was beating.

Akaashi walked slowly past the sniveling trio, directing his feet toward Kuroo and Daichi.

"Hello, guys," he waved, "hope you're taking this future separation better than them."

Kuroo gave a solid pat on the setter's shoulder and exchanged a handshake with the other, slapping his palm on Akaashi's, a brotherly gesture they started doing later during camp, "I think I'll live just fine even without seeing these annoying crows and that tall, loud, awesome howl."

Akaashi's pat on Kuroo's chest was surely lighter than the captain's slap on his shoulder, "Playing the tough boy part doesn't quite fit you, Kuroo-san."

Daichi was gentler, going for a quick hug, "We'll miss your company and your teachings for sure."

Akaashi squeezed one-time Karasuno's captain, "Same goes for me."

"Oh, but we only taught you how to do perfect penalties!"

"I was talking about the 'missing your company' part."

Kuroo snarled, "That was a good one, Akaashi!"

"I swear, if you don't stop crying, I'll force you to play with us all day!", Yaku was trying to convince Hayami to break away from Bokuto and Shoyo.

"This is not even a threat, Yaku-san!", Suga had Hinata right beside him, dragging him by the collar of his jacket, "She'll probably play better than us and even for a longer time."
