(A few days later)
Vihanika's wedding rituals had started from today. Today was Vihanika's haldi ceremony.
(In the Haldi ceremony, the bride and groom are applied haldi on there body and after applying turmeric, both of them cannot go out of their house. This is a very important ritual.)
Yellow colored curtains were placed in the whole palace, there were marigold flowers everywhere.
Then after some time my mother came holding a plate in her hand with a red cloth on it.
Kritika, This is for you, you have to wear this on Haldi today.
