The harsh, fiery soot coated the twisted and unnatural plane. This decrepit world reeked of pure unadulterated madness and evil. A home for none. No one, but for monsters.

Twisted landscapes that no one on Earth couldn’t even dare to comprehend, planes of grass, fields of flowers, pits leading to the deep dark depths of hell. Whispers of the damned coasted along in the world, lost, clinging to anything that reminded them of their lives before.

One particular area was the scene of a bloody, visceral battle. Blood coated the floor as if it was painted on, limbs and other bodily viscera adorned the place like furniture. The grinding of horrid, dirty metal sounded out with a sheering clang, and the squelching of flesh following. Howls of pain and anger came out of the empty throats of his opponents.

Beings of pure animosity, spewing words and sounds of pure venom as they are relentlessly bombarded with his attacks. They came in waves that didn’t stop. A tsunami that never calms. He gripped his weapon tight, his own weary body drenched and coated in blood that was not his. Their sounds drowned out his ears, filling his mind with things that any other human wouldn’t dare to hear, things that would immediately make one take their own life.
He was not such a human.

His breathing was sharp and harsh, the small grunts that came with swinging his heavy ax. His eyes scanned his actively changing environment through his armor, quickly flitting to and fro from his enemies. He was surrounded. He didn’t know how he ended up in this place, but he did know this is where they come from. This is where all of them come from.

He quickly dashed about, his feet sinking into the corpses that had been slayed by his hand. He felt like he knew this place like the back of his hand. It was odd, it was similar to coming across a sight, sound, or smell from one’s childhood. It felt like home. He felt it in his blood, his raging, boiling blood. The metallic and bony armor that covered his body served as an absolute necessity. He peered through its eyes… the sockets of the skull that adorned his face.

The man opened his mouth.
Get up.

Y/n awoke sharply, his body aching with incredible pain as he jolted. He groaned, feeling the familiar metallic taste in his mouth, along with the numbness in his muscles. He hoisted himself up with much difficulty, his arms fractured, his ribs in pieces, and parts of his flesh melted off.
It was a miracle he was even breathing.
He slowly, but surely got up, his hands and knees in the rubble as he coughed. Even if he was awake and alive now, there is no possible way he can fight. It was impossible, given his current condition. Power thankfully was able to stop the blood from seeping out, but that didn’t fix everything else… His arms, body, and legs were covered in serious burns, his stomach was screaming at him for even moving. Kidney’s, liver, intestines and more suffered from Hyun’s unforgiving and relentless attack.
He was down for the count. He could barely hear the sounds of combat surrounding him, the cackles of a mad woman and the irate yells of a man, along with the crackling of electricity and the clanging of Power’s attacks… His eyes blurred.
