The boys' dorm stunk by the time Syd came to say goodnight to her friend's. "Crikey Remus." She said wading through the thick smoke and in the direction she knew a window to be. "Accio." She whispered making the cigarette whizz from between the boys lips to her own delicate hand. His head shot up from his pillow. "I wouldn't smoke that if I were you." James said coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his head. The girl chuckled. "Why not?" She questioned, now sitting on the window sill as the smoke slowly left the room. "Because gorgeous," Remus stared at her, his pupils enlarged, "it's got mandrake root in it."

Syd blushed deeply although she knew Remus was high. She laughed before taking a puff of it. The mandrake root not only returned those were petrified to their original state but had imense relaxing properties similarly to weed, however Remus always said in a wizarding school mandrake was easier to get ahold of. Syd still sat on the window sill, her ear piercings catching the moonlight as she waited for the buzz to hit her. "Why don't we get Remus high before the moon?" Peter said from his bed beside the door. Syd rolled her eyes and Remus laid on his bed like a starfish. "Goodnight gorgeous," she mocked Remus, "night boys, behave yourselves." She said before closing the door tightly behind her. "Did you hear that pads? The Greek goddess called me gorgeous."
"Yeahhhhh his brain, heart and mouth appear to be having a three way." Sirius claimed as he slid under his sheets.

The girls's dorm was getting decorated for the 6th time. "I want more fairy lights- no Syd they aren't made of fairies for the millionth time!" Lily said as she strung lights on the canopy of her bed. "Then why call them fairy lights!" Marlene sat and watched the whole thing unravel, "I asked Dorcas on a date by the way." She said nonchalantly. Lily stopped busying herself and Syd stopped trying to undo lily's progress. "You what?!" The raven haired girl almost screamed. "Yeahhhhh, she slapped me.... Then kissed me and said deal?" Marlene looked shook up from the event. "When did this happen?" Lily interrogated
"Before I got locked out of the common room and you guys had to tell me the password." Marlene had left the group heading towards the dorms in search of Dorcas. Then she proceeded to get locked out as no one was around to tell her the password.

"You didn't think to mention this an hour ago?" Lily snapped. Syd stood between the two, "now, now ladies, if you're gonna fight at least make it sexy then invite James." She laughed evilly. Marlene smirked "oh yeah, what's the crack with you and pot head."
"Oh just to note, it's Remus who's the pot head as I've just done drugs with him." Syd smiled as she put her hair into a big messy bun. "What?! Drugs? Remus? Noooo" lily said sarcastically before she began about James. "We're going out this weekend I think, but aside from that it's all good and new and scary." She whinged before going back to her lights.

Syd wrapped her duvet around her shoulders and read a book Remus had lent her, pride and prejudice. Marlene read a quidditch comic which caught Syd's eyes "when's the first Gryffindor practice by the way??" Syd asked. Marlene responded by pointing at lily whose back was turned. "It's the 10th". She rattled of quickly. The ginger was basically the mother of the group, not just the girls but the boys as well. "Okay mum... hang on. OH! EW!" Syd shouted, "noooo, if you get with James he'll be the dad of the group and he's my brother and that's incest." Syd complained.
"Well you'll be calling Remus Daddy soon enough." Lily said still sorting her decor. Marlene screamed and Syd burried her face in her pillow. "OH MY GOD IM SORRY!!! I didn't think!! But I didn't mean it like that! I meant kids but oh my god." Lily went and cradled Syd as she cried with laughter. "I don't even like him like that Lils! He's my best friend!" Marlene was still screaming, although it had turned into a prolonged croak as she cringed.

"New dorm rule, the word 'daddy' is prohibited. That rule also applies for other areas of the castle and surrounding grounds." Syd stated before opening her trunk with a flick of her want. "Agreed." The others said in unison.
