Remus collapsed onto his bed, the smell of the girl still lingered in his room. His finger tips met his lips, savouring the sensation of her against him. The boy found himself dizzy with the thought of being with her after all his pining. It felt tangible, finally, they kiss solidified something for Remus. The boy stood up, grabbing at his hair like Syd had done moments prior and stared around his room before bundling up his pajamas and changing rapidly. The werewolf laid in bed, hands behind his head, waiting for the rest of the marauders to join him, however he'd keep his lips sealed.

Syd made her way back into the common room, a smile plagued her face. "Are you guys good now?" James asked, almost fearful of the girl. "Yes Jamsie, we're fine. As for me and you..." She joked and leaned on the back of the couch above her twin. "You fancy sneaking to Hogsmede with me?" She whispered so only Sirius could hear. "Not tonight." He sighed, scratching Brodie's head affectionately. "Okie dokie, I'll ask Marlene." The rest of the group made their way up to their dorm rooms as Syd waited for Marlene. Once the girl finally arrived back she was promptly dragged into the corridor. "You're gonna have to pick your feet up Marls." Syd claimed as she dragged them down the hallway and away from the common room.
"Where the actual hell are we going?" Whisper shouted, her mental hair bouncing behind her. "Hogsmede." Syd whispered back. They were charging down the hall, moving desperately quick in order to limit the chance of being spotted by the greasy caretaker and his scabby cat. The dark haired girl continued to drag Marlene until they hit a rather ugly statue of a Humpback witch. She tapped her want to it and dragged Marlene through the forming hole in her back. "Why are we going to Hogsmede at night?" Marlene asked, rubbing the disrupted dirt away from her eyes. "I need stuff... Anyway, how did it go with Dorcas?" Syd questioned as she lit her wand and began the walk down the tunnel. Marlene sighed awkwardly, "Better than good if you get what I mean." Syd Ooed. Marlene flipped her hair dramatically.
"I hope I remembered my purse." Syd questioned herself as they neared the hatch that would take them into the honeydukes cellar. Marlene stuffed her pockets as soon as she crawled out of the tunnel, cramming chocolates, sweets and things she wasn't sure what they were into her trouser pockets. Syd, however, was more selective. She thoughtfully selected chocolate which Remus and her enjoyed as well as some pieces for their other friends. Syd cast a disillusionment charm on both her and Marlene so they could sneak out of honeydukes without being seen and into the small village. Together the girls laughed and kicked the dead leaves at eachother. "Hey, I need to go in here, grab a few bits." Syd claimed. Although they had been to Hogsmede during the day, she hadn't thought about getting her friends presents.
Syd dove into the apothecary, Marlene close behind her. She wandered down the aisles gathering small bits for their dorm first aid kit which was next to empty after Lily cursed Marls so badly after being jump scared. Syd gathered these items and swiped a bag from behind the counter. "Syd! They've got some!!"
Marlene called and the girl in question dashed over from the main counter. "Really?!" She questioned and grabbed the potion from the shelf. Inside the glass bottle was a dark, rose pink liquid with the Potter family logo slapped on it. "Now Marlene are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes, confident, for Dorcas..."The girls left money on the counters and began the walk back to the castle. The tunnel under honeydukes was always freezing no matter the time of year. Marlene used her unruly hair as a scarf as Syd hurried her hands into her pockets. "We've got so much stuff, Filch and that thing of his are gonna hear us from a mile away." Marlene claimed, shivering as the exit came into view. "We'll just have to run and quickly." Syd stated as she went to open the statue up again. The fresh smell of the castle was inviting rather than that of the musty tunnel as the girls climbed out the tunnel and legged it towards the common room. The corridors flashed before their eyes, disorientating them severely. "Where the fuck are we?" Syd said to the other girl as they began to slow down and take in where they were. They went through another door and found themselves face to face with a werewolf. Syd's body changed quickly into that of a black dog and Marlene sunk to the floor.
