It's been two days since I last saw Aurora, she hasn't answered mine or anyone's calls, did I scare her? My mind's been running at 100mph thinking of reasons why she's been ignoring me.

"Lad, she's probably just sick," Johnny offered, his brow furrowed in concern.

"Then why hasn't she answered any of us?" I sighed, frustration creeping into my tone.

"Maybe her phone broke? Honestly don't know lad, it'll be fine," Johnny attempted to reassure me, though uncertainty lingered in the air.

"Hopefully," I sighed, feeling a mix of anxiety and hope as I lay back on the bed, the weight of unanswered questions pressing on my mind.

"Ye don't think I scared her... d'you?" I asked Johnny, seeking his perspective on the situation.

"Why? What happened?" Johnny's concern was evident in his voice.

"Y'know Tuesday, how I didn't come yours till late?"

"Yeah..." Johnny confirmed, recalling the day in question.

"I ah... saw her sat down, so I went to go see if she was okay, and one thing lead to another... we kissed," I confessed, sharing the unexpected turn of events.

"No shite! Why didn't you tell me?" Johnny exclaimed, surprised by the news.

"I am now ye eejit!" I shout.

"No, I mean when you came that afternoon," Johnny clarified, seeking an explanation for my silence.

"Because... I don't know, okay!" I replied, feeling a mix of confusion and hesitation.

"Oh my god, you like her!" Johnny exclaimed, picking up on the underlying emotions.

"Jaysus lad, no shite," I muttered before Johnny sat on the edge of the bed, ready for a heart-to-heart.

"If you like her, why're you still hooking up with Lola?" Johnny questioned, delving into the complexities of the situation.

"Not hooking up really, just... mouth action," I explained, trying to downplay the situation.

He gagged as I chuckled at his reaction.

"I haven't been near her in months, but she won't stop bugging me," I sighed, expressing my frustration with Lola's persistence despite the lack of interest on my part.

"So... what's happened?" Aiden inquired as we sat in silence on the brick wall outside my dad's house.

"My mam's made us move, she's not letting me stay in Tommen either, even though she's already paid for my full education there," I sighed, the weight of the situation heavy on my shoulders.

"What? Why," Aiden's tone reflected his annoyance at the sudden turn of events.

"Alcohol," I chuckled dryly, a mix of resignation and bitterness in my voice as I shared the reason behind the mess off my life.

"She doesn't want me 'round you, but if I wanna go out, I'm only allowed here," I explained, nodding towards the house behind me.

"So why don't I just meet you here whenever you're over?" Aiden suggested.

"Because I won't be here every day, she checks my phone... I can't even message Joey without her giving me hawk eyes," I sighed, feeling the weight of the restrictions imposed on me.

"Well, why don't you text Joey when you're coming over, then Joey can tell me?" Aiden proposed, looking down at me.

"Good idea," I smiled, appreciating his support in navigating the challenging situation.

"I'm sorry," I say.

"You don't have to say sorry, it's not your fault... we'll get through this," he reassured me.

"What about Gibsie though... we kissed and-" I started, only to be interrupted by Aiden's shocked reaction.

"You kissed?" Aiden's surprise was evident.

"Yeah, and now he's probably gonna hate me because I haven't answered him... well, I can't," I explained, feeling the weight of the unspoken words between Gibsie and me.

"Hey, hey, chill. I'll try and get in contact with him if you want to let him know you're fine," Aiden offered.

"Thank you, but he really can't know... no one can, Aiden," I whisper.
