Aurora Lockheart was once the sunshine girl-bright, kind, and full of life. But one night changed everything, leaving her a shadow of who she used to be.
A year later, just as she's beginning to think she'll never find her way back, her ex-best fr...

One minute I'm snorting lines of coke from the table, waiting for my next client, and the next, I find myself in a classroom, head resting on my desk as Gibsie doodles who knows what on my hand while I struggle to keep my eyes open.
"Mr Gibson, I've asked you twice to stop drawing on Ms Lockhearts arm, can you move next to-" he starts to say before looking around. "Ms Murphy Please."
"Sir anyone but her." He sighs before Mr Michaels shakes his head nodding towards Lola.
"I'll see you later Princess" he salutes as I chuckle.
I look down to my arm to see all the drawings he'd done ranging from the word 'dick' in bubble writing to an actual dick, a flower and two stick figures, holding hands with arrows pointing to them one labeled Gibsie, the other labeled Aurora.
I look up to see him already looking at me.
'What?' I mouth.
'Nothing.' He smirks, shaking his head.
'Stop looking at me.'
'Why?'
'People 're gonna think we're together or some shit.'
'Is that such a bad thing'
'Dickhead.'
"Mr Gibson, Ms Lockheart! Stop with the flirting and pay attention!"

"So.. what've you got planned later?" Gibsie says, walking beside me, his tone casual.
"Nothing much, I've to drop something off at Aiden's' later but that's pretty much it," I reply, settling down on the bench at the bus stop.
"D'you want a ride there?" he offers,as I shake my head.
"No, it's fine, plus I've to drop Shan home first,".
"A little birdie told me Kav's dropping her home," he teases, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he grabs my bag. "C'mon my mam's waiting."
"I can't hear you, you'll have to catch up," Gibsie teases playfully as he starts walking away.
We reach the car, and Gibsie opens the passenger door, putting his bag inside and asks his mom, "You don't mind dropping Aurora at her friend's, do you, mam?"
"No, course not love, get in," his mom replies kindly, motioning for me to join.
As I settle into the car, I express my gratitude, "Thank you for the ride, Mrs. Gibson."
"It's alright love, and call me Sadhbh. Gerard's always talking about you," she chuckles, adding a personal touch to the conversation.
"Oh really?" I inquire, glancing at Gibsie, who suddenly turns to the window, a hint of blush creeping up his neck, trying to divert the attention away from himself.
