Isabella's POV

A few days after our peaceful getaway sa mountains, balik na naman kami sa wedding preparations. We were just a few weeks away from the big day, at ramdam na ramdam ko na yung excitement, pati na rin yung kaba. But despite all the planning and the little details that needed our attention, I was just happy na malapit na talaga kaming magpakasal ni Alex.

"Isa, love, nasaan na yung listahan ng mga ninong at ninang?" tanong ni Alex habang binubuklat niya ang wedding planner namin.

"Here," sabi ko, handing him the list. "Naisip ko nga na idagdag si Tita Grace as one of the godparents. She's been really supportive ever since we got engaged."

"Good idea. She’s practically family na rin," he agreed, writing down her name. "How about sa reception? Okay na ba lahat ng details?"

"Tapos na ‘yung menu. Pumili na rin tayo ng flowers. The only thing left is yung seating arrangement, which I’m still figuring out," I explained, flipping through another page of the planner.

"Siguro mas okay kung unahin natin yung mga close friends and family sa malalapit na tables. Then the rest, we can group by how well they know each other," he suggested.

"Yeah, that makes sense," I nodded, feeling relieved na may katuwang ako sa pagdedesisyon.

As we continued discussing the details, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by how smoothly everything was falling into place. It was a far cry from the chaos and uncertainty na hinarap namin before we got engaged. I was grateful that after everything, we were finally getting our happy ending.

Alexander's POV

Ilang linggo na lang bago ang wedding day namin ni Isa, and everything seemed to be in order. Pero kahit gaano kami ka-busy, we made sure to take some time off para lang mag-relax at mag-enjoy ng mga simple moments together.

One afternoon, habang nasa park kami for a quick break, napansin ko na tahimik si Isa. Naka-upo siya sa isang bench, staring off into the distance, parang may iniisip nang malalim.

"Love, okay ka lang?" tanong ko, sitting down beside her.

She turned to me and smiled, pero halatang may gumugulo sa isip niya. "Yeah, I’m just thinking about how far we’ve come. Parang ang bilis ng panahon, no? Just a few months ago, we were just figuring things out, and now… we’re about to get married."

Ngumiti ako at hinawakan ang kamay niya. "I know what you mean. Minsan nga, di rin ako makapaniwala na nandito na tayo. But I’m glad we made it through everything. It just shows how strong we are together."

She sighed and leaned her head on my shoulder. "I guess I’m just a little nervous. Parang ang dami pa rin nating kailangan gawin."

"Naiintindihan ko ‘yan, Isa. But we’ve got this. We’re in this together, and we’re going to make it the best day of our lives," I assured her, squeezing her hand.

"I know, Alex. Thank you for always being so positive," she replied, a smile returning to her face.

That afternoon, we spent our time walking around the park, just talking about our future plans, our dreams, and everything we wanted to achieve together. It was moments like these na nare-remind ako kung bakit ko minahal si Isa—she was not only my partner but also my best friend. Someone I could talk to about anything and everything.

Isabella's POV

As the wedding day drew nearer, the excitement only grew stronger. Pero syempre, hindi rin mawawala ang stress. One evening, habang nagpapahinga kami ni Alex after a long day of planning, nakatanggap ako ng tawag from one of the vendors.
