ENZO

Seeing the avoiding as well as the mix of furious reaction on her face, I am absolutely sure she just got the surprise.

Therefore, we need to talk over the matter of hiding and revealing the secret because what my subconscious mind is telling me is that she must be mad at me for that.

But before that, Mom wants me to stay with her for a moment when she could just let out all her happiness, excitement and adorable side as she finally admitted to her friend.

"God, you have no idea Enzo... how happy I am." She confessed cheerily with a bounce back to the step.

"Hmm. I can see that." I chuckled when she faced me with a warm smile.

"And what is more amusing is that she is as happy as me."

Why won't she be... as their bond was so beautiful even in those letters, it's predictable to watch them being happy together after finding out the things.

"What should I get her as a present for our first meeting? Wait-should I tell Vincent to suggest something to me- no, that would be veiled." She muttered innocently.

"Well, she likes something like- which she thinks is more than an expensive gift."

Her eyes shifted to me with a glimpse of hope, "You know what she likes? Ah, my bad- obviously, you would know. Tell me." She chuckled but looked very impatient.

Did she just tease me again? Yeah, her tone is full of teasing.

"What? Don't glare at me like that. Am I wrong? No, right!?" Mom lifted a shoulder.

I sighed out.

"You do know everything about her likes and dislikes and other things, too." Mom revealed, mischiefly looking everywhere but my face.

"Alright, alright. You are right, Mom." I admitted, gaining a sweet smile from her.

"Now, tell me fast... what does she like?" Mom asked impatiently.

Passing a gentle smile, I said, "The one and only love of her life." But my words seemed to concern her as the smile on her face turned into a frown until I told her in detail.

Just now, I saw Dad and Alora talking with each other in a casual manner and also there were my friends sitting beside them, listening to their conversation.

What is amusing to me is that Dad is being a real family man infront of her instead of keeping the personality of the main boss.

When I came to see Mom all I could see was the number of plates on the table and the quantity of different types of pizzas on them, making my lips parted in disbelief.

I know Mom loves to cook but this... I really didn't expect her to make all this for Alora when I told her that she loves pizza.

Surprisingly, Mom already knew that her sweetheart mentioned in their letters that she loves pizza. So my words reminded her of that and she decided to make it for her sweetheart as a present.

Oh, my innocent Mom... Dad is very lucky to have an angel like woman by his side all these years.

But I am not jealous of him because I got the same version of my Mom in my love.

Alora appeared and when she saw the table filled with the pizzas all around the big dining table she couldn't hide that amusement from her innocent eyes.

"Consider this as a small present from me." Mom smiled and Alora's face softened like butter.

"Oh my God. This is... thank you so much for everything." They hugged and the rest of the audience just stood there and watched them being emotional.
