ALORA
Now I seem to understand how it actually feels to investigate for real.
My Dad, Adam Gray, also did many investigations in a lot of cases and he eventually solved all of them while handling other matters too perfectly.I remember how he used to keep pictures of people related to his investigation, stuck on a white board on his study wall and wrote words- so many words- below those pictures, leaving marks all around.
And I also remember the frown, serious look on his face when he looked at that board. I have felt genuinely wholesome many times whenever I watched him concentrate on his work.
As now I have also got something to investigate for the first time in life, it's my turn to take that position and get any clue of this matter.
If that man, Sandrino, knew about my intentions and said that I am after Domenico to get revenge on him, and then later before taking his last breath he eventually spewed out someone's name to me.
Therefore, I think he must have given her name to me as a clue to find out some secrets which probably are connected to my revenge, or to me. I guess so.
While about Luciano, I think Enzo will keep that matter aside until the party because he thinks that if he points that out to him now then the result won't be good.
But in my case, and the matter of Kathie Parker, the unknown person, I have to search for my own mental peace... and it should be done before the party.
That's why I ended up getting an idea that perhaps the news man, Feleti, who works for Enzo can give me any kind of information about that person. So, I asked Enzo to talk with him for me and tell him to get the information.
And Enzo told me that Feleti will call us and then I can ask him anything I would want to know. He said that Feleti already researched that person and he wants to answer all of that face to face.
Well, it doesn't seem weird of him to ask for talking face to face but it's just- anyway. Whatever I understood about Feleti is that he is a professional man and has been working for Enzo and his father for a long time so there's no chance of him being strange.
For some reason, I believe that.
"Let me call him." Enzo said, putting the laptop on the table before us.
Both of us- no, only I am the one who was nervous for some reason when the face-call started ringing.
As soon as the call was picked up, a decent man with a moustache and dark wavy hair came into view.
Enzo said a small hello to him and the man also immediately greeted him with a signature gesture by his fingers.
"Hello, ma'am." Feleti smiled politely.
I smiled back and said, "Hello. Thank you so much for helping us. I appreciate your-"
He interrupted me, "Ah, it's my job." Well, he seems naturally frank with his clients.
Enzo leaned in forward, folding his hands. "You found anything about Kathie Parker?" He asked the man.
"I got to know almost everything about Kathie Parker." Feleti answered.
"What is that?" I asked him, impatient.
"Kathie Parker died four years and ten months ago. However, it was not a natural death but a murder."
I blinked, processing his words.
"She is dead." It sounded like a question itself.
Why would that man, Sandrino, give the name of someone who had left this world almost five years ago?
