A/N I read a chapter like this in another book (not tayvis) ages ago and decided to rewrite it so if you recognise it that's why :) I would give credits but I have no idea what book it was and it's a bit different anyways

Taylor had not been sleeping well so she was exhausted, and to top it all off she was also on her period. She had spent the morning in bed whilst Travis went out with some friends, but had decided around midday that she should probably get up soon.

She got out of bed begrudgingly, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and groaning at the dull ache in her stomach. She stumbled into the bathroom, looking at her reflection in the mirror. She didn't look too bad surprisingly, so she ran and brush through her hair, smoothed out her kitty pyjamas and decided to call it a day.

Just then there was a knock at the door, so she padded downstairs, opening it. It was Travis and three of his friends who Taylor didn't know that well; Ryan, Alex and Toby.

"Hey baby!" Travis slurred and that's when Taylor realised it. They were drunk. Not borderline-passing-out-drunk, but definitely a bit tipsy. They all shoved past her, heading to the kitchen. Taylor just rolled her eyes, making her way back upstairs and flopping down on the bed.

Less than five minutes later there was a loud crash, followed by a chorus of laughing. Taylor reluctantly dragged herself out of bed, going to see what had happened. She didn't really like being around Travis's friends (other than the ones she knew well), especially when they're drunk, because she had learnt from previous experiences that they weren't always the nicest of people.

She entered the kitchen, biting back her anger when she saw a glass smashed on the kitchen floor, the red wine staining the edges of the white rug. Travis and his friends were stood around the table laughing, and it took everything in Taylor not to yell at them.  She was already on edge, and they were just making it ten times worse.

Silently she swept up the glass, picking up the rug ready to wash it.
"Thanks darling" one of the men- Ryan- cooed jokingly, making the group erupt into fits of giggles once again. Taylor just rolled her eyes, turning away to head into the other room.

Suddenly there was another crash and Taylor turned around fast, only to be met with the men laughing their heads off once again. This time, smashed across the floor was her favourite vase, the flowers Travis had got her for their anniversary strewn between the shards.

That was it.
"FOR FUCKS SAKE TRAVIS, BE MORE CAREFUL" She shouted, throwing the rug in her arms onto the floor and storming up to her room. It was less about the fact that Travis had just smashed her favourite vase, though she was still sad about that. It was the way he was behaving, and Taylor did know that he was tipsy but that was not the way to behave.

She lay on her bed as tears rolled down her cheeks, scrolling through instagram. She was already feeling like crap and Travis and his shitty friends weren't helping.

After Taylor had had her little outburst the men downstairs had been silenced, clearing up the mess that was made. Travis did feel bad, however decided not to go talk to her because he thought she needed space. Once the mess had been cleared the men soon started making noise again, and the house was filled with shouting and laughing.

Taylor had had enough. It was past 1am and Taylor had been trying to get to sleep for three hours, however she couldn't because all of the noise downstairs. She slipped on her kitty slippers and padded her way downstairs.

Travis looked to the door as he heard it open. There stood Taylor, and it was obvious that either she had just woken up or she had been trying to sleep. Her hair was piled in a messy bun on top of her head and her fist was rubbing at her eye. She had a blanket wrapped round her shoulders and her favourite kitty slippers on, as well as her matching pyjamas.
