"My god Taylor" Travis muttered, anger seeping out of him. Taylor just stood there, glaring at him with tears in her eyes.
"It was just a question!" She exclaimed angrily.
"Just a question? Taylor, this is the fourth time you've accused me of cheating. You're so fucking insecure" he swore.
She chuckled drily. "Yeah, just leave it up to you to throw my insecurities back in my face."
"You know thats not what I meant Taylor" Travis sighed.
"I need some space" she spat, turning and grabbing her phone before stepping out the front door. Travis just watched her go, knowing she would come back, begging for his forgiveness soon.Taylor wandered to the bridge without even thinking. She was on autopilot, her body numb from the fight. She walked up to the railing, looking down into the depths below.
It was a long drop, so far that it may kill you if you fell. And the water would be freezing as it was night time in the winter. If that didn't kill you then you'd drown.
Would be a pretty good solution actually.
Taylors life had been going downhill recently, she felt like she was at an all time low. Like she was in a pit of misery, and there was no way out. Like the only way for this pain to end would be to stop feeling altogether.
Travis and Taylor had talked about these feelings before, once when he noticed her cuts and once when she miscarried. She had been to therapy since then, Travis thought she was getting better. But she wasn't. If anything, she was getting worse.
The dark blue depths looked so inviting to Taylor, reeling her in with their watery call. As she stood leant over the railing, her hair whipping around her face, she really thought she was going to do it. She really thought she would fall, and that would be the end of it. But something, something pulled her back. Guilt. She couldn't leave Travis, her mom. No matter how much she wanted to die, she couldn't leave them.
She stepped down, sitting on the raised concrete block where the railing met the path. She wouldn't do this. She couldn't do this. But...
She rose to her feet, shivering as the wind nipped at her bare arms. She hadn't bought a coat. But soon that wouldn't matter, soon she wouldn't feel a thing. She learnt against the railing once more, looking out over the waters. Oh, how welcoming they looked.
She grabbed her phone with shaking hands, her fingers numb with cold. 11:15. Almost two hours since she'd left. She navigated to Travis's contact, typing a message with shaking fingers.
'I love you'Phone chucked aside, landing on the concrete with a crack.
She swung her leg over the railing, pulling herself over. Good thing she was tall. Leaning out over the water, the wind in her hair, her and hands gripping the metal behind her; she had never felt more alive. Ten seconds and she would be free.
Nine.
Eight. She thought about her fans, what they would think when they heard of her death.
Seven.
Six. Her cats, they'd wonder why she wasn't there for cuddles, why she never returned.
Five.
Four. Her friends. What would they think? 'Could we have saved her?' The answer is no.
Three.
Two. Her family, her mom, her dad, her brother. All the memories they had together.
One. Travis.
She let go, closing her eyes as she plunged to her death.
A/N short one sorry
