Taylor was sat up in bed, the laptop opened in front of her. Tears clouded her vision, anger, sadness, fear taking over her body.
"How?!" She shouted, her voice raw. "How did he fucking win!?" She didn't care who heard her, she just needed this out of her, this feeling of helplessness out her body.

Travis burst into the room, his expression a mix of anger and disappointment as he scanned over his girlfriend on the bed.
"He won, did he?" He asked, his voice hard. Taylor nodded, burying her face in her hands. Travis sighed, his face filled with anger, with worry, with disappointment.

He sat down on the bed next to Taylor, wrapping his arms around her body. She melted into his touch, resting her head on his chest.
"It will be okay" he whispered into her hair. "There's still hope"
Taylor pulled away, looking up at him with eyes filled with guilt, anger, despair.
"How did so many people vote for him? How do so many people think that's right? Do they all ready hate us that much, want to control us, want to have a say in what we do with our bodies? And why do they hate two people of the same gender being in love, why do they hate people being who they are? I don't understand" Her words were teary, but an underlying sound of anger shone through.

"I don't know sweetheart, I don't know" Travis sighed, pulling her into his arms once again.
"I'm scared Travis. We're going back in fucking time. Soon enough we won't have any rights whatsoever, and... I just don't understand" she whispered into Travis's chest.
"We will keep fighting Tay. This is not the end, it's not over, it's only just begun"

A/N I DO NOT understand how Trump won and how people can be so uneducated and ignorant that they voted for him- removing human rights to anyone who isn't a straight white man

As a teenage girl in England I am terrified for all the people affected in america, and I am terrified that it will spread around the world and affect other places too

Why does two people in love infuriate people so much? Why can't I marry who I want to? And why do men get a say on what we do with our bodies
