Chloe pov:
I woke in shock as if I just touched a warm stove. My entire body felt this wave of heat. I instinctively jump off the bed, and the covers fly off of me. I fall back on the floor before getting up to look. My vision clears up as I then notice Red's veins glowing a bright shade of red through her skin. I touched her again, and she was heating up. She didn't seem to wake up. I shook her awake in worry.
Chloe: Red?!... wake up!
She then suddenly woke up and quickly felt the heat of her skin as well. She jumps off the bed, and she looks at her arms and body just as ci fused as me.
Red: What is going on? What is this?
She's looking around her body she puts her hands on her skin, but it doesn't seem to hurt her. She looks up at me as her gaze meets mine. Her eyes also started glowing, and her voice became lower.
Red: What wrong? I'm not scary, am I?
She covered her mouth as she heard her voice. I just froze in shock. I've never seen her like this before.
Red: What is happening to me?
Red then sneezed, and a card flew out of her pocket and turned into a knife that fell in front of me. I managed to dodge it. I try to wake a step closer, but Red put her hands out.
Red: Chloe, stay away. I don't want you to get hurt.
Chloe: You won't hurt me.
Red then sneezed again as another card flew out, poofing into an axe before being thrown right at me. I quickly dodged it. Red gasped before circling around the room as I blocked the door.
Red: Chloe, let me out. It's not safe for you to be around me like this.
I then take a few steps forward as she backs up. She then quickly runs to the balcony and jumps off. I lean over the edge as I see students quickly back up but looking at Red.

Red pov:
I jumped off the balcony so Chloe wouldn't reach me, but she then hesitated before jumping off.
Red: Chloe, no! Stay away, please.
I say in a low growl. It's like I can't co trol anything I do anymore. I need to run away before I really hurt her. I then start to run, but Chloe runs right after me. I ran past a few students running around the school. Yard trying to lose Chloe. I then ran into the school as I then ran right past Mal and Evie.
I quickly turn my head as I run.
Red: Sorry!

Chloe pov:
Red ran into the school I ran as I ran past Mal and Evie, looking shocked. They then follow me as we all chase Red down the halls. How is Red not getting tired of running.
Mal: What is going on?
Chloe: I have no clue. Something is wrong with Red.
She then runs back outside the school and then just runs towards the fields. I got too tired to keep running and then stop as I pant before I could make it to the fields. I just watched as Red ran past the school yard into the forest.

Red pov:
I finally lost them. I just kept running deeper and deeper in the woods. I didn't know where I was going. I just needed to be far away. After running for 5-10 more minutes, I then stopped at this cave. I walked in the cave and sat down my back against the cave walls as I them burst out crying. I couldn't conceal my sobs. I put my palm against my face, covering my eyes. Everything is so intense. It's like all my senses are highened, my eyes hurt, my nose is more sensitive now, and I can hear everything from further away. I can finally process what has been happening to me since I stopped running. I catch my breath as I look down, my veins still glowing... my skin is warm to the touch but not as bad as before. I then grabbed my phone and called my mom.
