Part 117 - Falling

Red pov:

So after an hour long drive back, I gently woke Chloe up before leaving the car.

Red: it's supper time, baby.

We get out of the car, and Mal and Evie go back to the farmhouse while we head to the cafeteria. After sitting down, I wanted to ask Chloe a few questions.

Red: So Chloe, did you have fun today?

Chloe: Of course I did. I got to spend time with my dad, brother, and all of you guys. You were really sweet for doing this for me, Red.

Red: And You Ruby?

Ruby: Yeah, It was cool to see another town. I never really traveled much, so it was nice to see their pretty castle.

Red: Hey Chloe? Wanna go to the enchanted lake tomorrow evening?

Chloe: Sure, we haven't been there in a while.

Ruby: You guys are so cute together. It's nice to see your relationship grow. While you guys are here being all lovey dovey, I'm here tying to help hades find his true love.

Chloe: Oh yeah, how as that going?

Ruby: Well, we haven't tried in a few days, so hopefully, tomorrow we'll have luck and be able to find who we are looking for.

So we spent the rest of the night watching a movie on the couch eating popcorn before taking a quick shower and going to bed earlier because of school. In bed, I held the back of Chloes head as I kissed her before she wanted me to rest on her chest. She kissed the top of my head, and we both fell asleep relatively quickly. After a warm nights rest, we woke up a little groggy but were ready to start the day. We headed down for breakfast, but while we were eating, my mother walked into the cafeteria. Everyone quickly stood up and bowed. She walked to our table. I was sitting next to Chloe and knew what was coming next.

QoH: I see you have somehow managed to break the hex I have placed on the young Charming.... you just won't give up, will you?

Red: Nope.

She then lets out a heavy sigh.

QoH: Red, come with me to my office. we have lots to discuss.

She said, waving her hand and turning around as I glanced at Chloe. She smiled and nodded before I got up and followed my mom to Uma's office. She sat down on the chair and gestured the chair in front of the big desk. I also sit down. I didn't say anything, but I was a little nervous.

QoH: Since you seem to always have a way to ruin every one of my plans to teach you a lesson.... I have chosen to give up my ways because it's no use.

Red: Are you serious?

I say puzzled, lifting one eyebrow.

QoH: Yes, Red.... I decided to teach you the traditional way. You won't be going to any of your classes this week and instead will be with me as I teach you the important things all queens should know.

Red: So only this week?

QoH: Yes. Now.... let's start, shall we?

I lean back I to my chair as my mother takes out a binder.

QoH: This will be a record of everything you'll need to learn.

She opens it and lets me read the first page. She then started to actually teach me things I wanted to learn. She taught me how to look gracious, poses, manners, and other etiquette lessons throughout the day. It was actually really fun to be with my mom this time. She didn't once try to do any of her games. I was still a bit cautious, but by the end of the day, I was excited for tomorrow. My mom even said I did a good job before waving goodbye as I left the office. With a smile on my face, I made my way to my dorm and showered while waiting for Chloe to come back from her fencing. Once I was out of the shower and she arrived, she asked me how my day was, and I told her all about it.
