Part 95 - She Can Hear my Every Thought

Chloe pov:

I wake up with Red's head on my chest. It's Monday morning, and the sun woke me up. I notice Red is still asleep. I want to take advantage before she gets her payback. Sadly, I can't hear any sweet thoughts while she's asleep, but I'll take this moment to cuddle her til she does wake up. About 10 minutes later, she starts to wake up. I heard a small noise coming out of her mouth. Guess it's time to face the music.

Chloe: Good morning..... did you sleep well?....

She opens her eyes, adjusting to the light.

Red: Good, but I'll be sleeping way better tonight after a little revenge.

Red then gets out of bed and pulls me up with her. Ruby's comes out of the washroom to notice us standing in front of the door waiting for her.

Ruby: may I help you?

Red: Yes, actually. I caught Chloe here slipping up last night, and she confessed to reading my mind for multiple days now. Now I want my payback.

Ruby: So you want me to make it so you can read her mind now?

Red: Yes, but make it so she can't read mine.

Ruby: ok, let be grab my gems.

Ruby walks to her bed and opens the drawers from her nightstand, grabbing her gems before walking back to us.

Red faces me with a grin on her face.

Red: Get ready, Chloe, cause now it's my turn.

She then looks back at Ruby, not glancing at me anymore. I let out a sigh as Ruby, then goes her thing and removes my ability to read Red's thoughts before making Red be able to hear mine.

💭Chloe: Did it work?

Red: yep.

Red then grabs my hand and drags me to the cafeteria for breakfast. The whole way there, my thoughts were going wild with nerves.

💭Chloe: Oh no, Red can hear my thoughts. She's gonna hear me gushing over her non-stop. Oh no, she just heard that, too. Dang it, I'm so done for.

Red turned around before we reached the cafeteria.

Red: Don't worry, Chloe, I'll start easy. Besides, this will totally test your trust in me.

Chloe: I mean, I guess. I'm just nervous cause I know you can. When I did it, you didn't know.

Red: True, but you did do it behind my back.

Chloe: I'm sorry, I just liked it so much cause you were more expressive in your mind.

Red: I know. I do still wanna have my fun, tho.

We sat down and ate food. I try to ease myself trying not to make too much eye contact with Red and talking to Ruby instead. Red let me have this moment with Ruby before we then headed to English class. The first class of the day. Red insisted that I sit next to her, so i did.

💭Chloe: Yay, I love English class. It's like my second favorite class.

The teacher came in and gave us a new assignment. It was a writing assignment, something we are yet to do.

Teacher: Today, you'll be starting your assignment, and you'll be given a week to complete it. You must write a 1 thousand word love story.

💭Chloe: This is the worst week for this.

I raised my hand.

Teacher: Yes, Chloe?

Chloe: Do we have to write about live specifically?
