AN: Part 2 for 'The Boy Down The Road'

"I told you it would be longer than a week." I couldn't hide the smirk in my voice as I held my boyfriend.

"Hi beautiful." Shisui brought his hand up to caress my cheek. I grabbed his hand and placed it against me.

"You can't say that anymore when you can't see me babe."

"I will always see your beautiful soul." Shisui slide his hand down my cheek and my neck until it rested over my heart. "I will always see you." He reassured me.

"Did you really have to give Itachi your other eye?" I asked him. That part of his plan didn't make sense to me. Before I left on my mission, when he whisked me away into the alley and I asked him to show me the future I didn't think we would be able to have, he showed me his plan.

"Yes beautiful. If we are to make a new life under false identifies, nothing can trace me back here. My eyes will always be sought after no matter how far we escape. I needed to eliminate that threat."

"And your eyes are a threat?" I questioned him. "They are a blessing babe." I leaned over his body to kiss his forehead. I had previously placed his back against the wall of a cave where he still laid on the ground.

"You are my biggest blessing beautiful." Regardless of just losing both his eyes Shisui gave me a cheesy smile.

"I love you." I said against his lips.

"I love you." Shisui spoke into our kiss. Our kiss quickly deepened as we were desperate for each other after our time apart.

"As much as I want you right now babe." I pulled back from our kiss after my body had found its way onto of his. "You just lost your eyes. We shouldn't do this now."

"What? I lost my eyes?" Shisui asked with humor in his voice. "I didn't notice."

"Shut up you dork." I laughed as I snuggled into Shisui side as I laid on the rocks beside him. "What is the plan now babe?"

Shisui showed me in detail the steps we both needed to take to get to this moment. But when he showed me our life he left out the moments from here to when he claimed us having five children in the future.

"I don't know beautiful. We both faked our deaths so running far is the goal but where we end up is up to you. You know what I want. I just want a future with you by my side. Where it is or how we get there is open."

"That doesn't sound like you to not have a plan."

"My plan is to spend the rest of my life with you. To have five beautiful little babies of our own. The rest is up to fate."

"And if I don't want five?" I asked. "You said you wouldn't be able to resist touching me because I would look so sexy pregnant with your child. But you won't see that babe. Who is to say you will still feel the same if you can't see."

"Like I already told you, I don't have to see you to know how beautiful you are."

"Ugh I wish you would have kept your other eye." I whined.

"It would have created an unnecessary risk beautiful. And Itachi will need it."

"What is going on in the village babe?" I asked him to finally share what was going on. I was only prevy to little information from the times I was threatened to get to Shisui. I had painted a picture in my mind of what was going on but I did not have definitive answers.

"My clan was planning a coup. Itachi and I acted as double agents to stop it. We had a plan. I was going to whip out memories. We wanted to resolve any unnessary bloodshed. The safety and protection of the village has always come first. But Danzo got greedy before we could act. He sent you on a suicidal mission thinking it was deter me. I won't lie the threat would have gotten the best of me if Guy hadn't told me what you said to him. If you had died on that mission I wouldn't have been able to continue. I probably would have taken the same steps but was more willing to throw my life on the line. Death has never scared me and if you were on the other side I would have welcomed it with open arms. But those little words you gave him, I knew. Knew we could find a way around death. I am so thankful I caught you in time. That we had a moment to connect before it all fell apart. I just wish you came to me first."
