"Nate? Can you tell me where the headmasters office is?" I ask Nate at the end of our very uninteresting history lesson.
"Yeah, but I have to be somewhere so I can't go with you, sorry" He replies, and I nod and smile.
"its okay" I assure him.
"Just go upstairs to the end of the hall to your left until you see the big doors" He advises me.
"Big doors, okay, thank you" I head off to find the room, hoping that Damien is already there.
As I walk I pass multiple different people and some look at me as I pass them, I'm just hoping what my teacher said doesn't come true right now. Looking around as I reach the top of the stairs I have definitely forgotten which way he said to go. I decide to just turn and go down the hall till the end and if I see no big doors then I will turn around and go the other way. As I walk down the hall past the multitude of students, I look out for large doors but I can't see any from where I am. So I go onto the tips of my toes to look above the crowd for any indication of a headmasters office, but I find none. As I stretch further to look I lose my balance and stumble into someone.
"Sorry" I apologise quickly, steadying myself and brush off my skirt.
"What are you doing up here?" I look up to see Carden annoyed and uncomfortable as he looks around at others who glance as they walk past.
"Um, Im looking for the headmasters office?" I say, but it comes out as a question.
"Then you're going the wrong way" He says and he must have noticed my embarrassment because he starts to walk away. "follow me"
I immediately shoot up from my previously embarrassed position and stare at him in surprise. But not wanting to anger him more than what he already seems, I quickly catch up with him. I follow him in silence, and that's what he seems to prefer seeing as he doesn't try to start up a conversation with me. I steal glances at him as he walks, he's so calm and collected, and everybody moves out of his way too, is he scary or something? I guess he kind of is, that's the first thing I thought the first time he looked at me. I don't see him as too scary, intimidating, yes, and he is intimidating without even having to do anything, it's just in his form. But maybe I'm biased, he did save me so it's possible I am.
His eyes are a dark green, that's one thing I've noticed, they don't have a set eye colour like in books or movies, they are normal and not all the same. Though Griffins were red when he was attacking me. His are quite a reddish brown as well, so maybe that's why.
"This is his office, they're probably already waiting for you" he stops and I smile at him.
"Thanks" I say gratefully, not just for this but again for yesterday.
"No need, it is kind of our job to take care of you now, if you get attacked, it's our fault" he explained.
"Still thank you, and as well for yesterday"
"Just go figure out why you're here so you can leave already" he says harshly, his face matching his tone in a glare.
"Sorry" I quickly open the door to the headmasters office and enter, slightly more upset than I wanted to be.
"Ah, you're here, we thought you were lost" Damien gets up from a couch in the middle of the room.
The room is large and themed in dark colours, including red. There is a couch in the centre and then further behind that there is the desk with two chairs in front and the headmasters chair behind. Then at the back wall, behind the desk setup, there are large windows with equally large drapes on them.
