"She went to your room last night" I say to Nate as he sits down.

"Oh, that" he answers "I thought you were going to keep that a secret?"

Nate interrogates Anne, his eyes shooting daggers.

"She's my best friend!" Anne explains.

"Then does she know?" He asks.

"No" Anne blushes, causing him to pause as a blush rises to his cheeks too.

"What's this about going to rooms last night?" Carden asks.

"It was a dare for Sam but she wouldn't do it alone so Anne did it too" I explain.

"Oh okay" Carden nods, taking a sip of water.

"Don't tell her" Nate orders Anne, leaning in even closer than before to intimidate her.

"Why can't I?" She provokes him, pushing closer as well.

"Do you want to tell her?" He asks.

"No" Anne gives up, backing down.

"Lets go do something" I say, trying to break the tension.

I get up dusting myself off, the sand against my skin is really annoying, but I try to get most off.

"Like what?" Nate asks, his expression turned unimpressed.

"Um" I say, I hadn't really thought about it "get some..."

I already had ice cream and I had shaved ice the other day... I've got water. Umm. I don't know.

"We can get some shaved ice" Carden answers.

I don't say that I don't feel like having any because then the others won't go, so I just go along with it.

"Yeah" I smile.

They agree and get up. The boys walk ahead and the two of us fall back. I'm surprised at how well Carden and Nate actually get along. I didn't expect them to, but it's amazing how friendly they are with each other.

I can see the stares at them as we walk past. I can feel the stares at us too. Luckily when the two tell us to get a table, no guys approach us, but the guys weren't as lucky. I wasn't as lucky. I've already said that I think I might be clingy. So getting jealous is definitely not something I'm incapable of. And as I watch a blonde babe glue herself to Cardens arm, I send daggers that aren't noticed. He smiles at her, a tight smile, and try's to shrug her off but she doesn't really move. Meanwhile Nate is hitting up a conversation with the other girl, brunette.

"Why are they so happy?" Anne asks.

"I don't know" I mutter, glaring at the scene.

"Hey girls, you two here alone?" Someone slides into the seat beside me but I barely notice.

"No" Anne answers as my anger grows worse, the blonde chick won't leave.

"Do you want to hang with us?" The one next to Anne asks.

"I have to go" I push myself off the seat and the guys hand begins to reach over, basically not taking any notice of it, all I can see is red.

I storm over to Carden and that girl, also taking no notice of Nate as he stops his conversation and runs over, past me, to Anne.

"Get your hands off her!"

"Stop touching him!"

Both of us in our own worlds. I pull Carden back and this time take notice of the grin that immediately forms on his face.
