I wake up of my own accord on Tuesday, ready for the rest of the week that awaits me. Staring at the ceiling though I start to feel mixed about bothering to get up. The somehow clean, white ceiling is so blank, kind of the opposite of my life right now, yet somehow how I have been feeling about life for the last 3 months. But I think things are starting to turn around. I might be in a house that I barely know. Live with people that could kill me whenever they wanted. And go to school with said people. But I'm also making friends, fresh people who don't know my past. Meeting my godparents and their son. And getting to know and appreciate everyone I live with.

I like it. I'm pretty happy, despite the idea that every vampire I meet and talk to wants to sink their teeth into me, I'm enjoying things.

Though that does still weigh in the back of my mind all day.

I start getting ready for school, putting on the choker and my tights to keep me warm in this autumn cold. Though the weather here is pretty odd, it fluctuates a lot. When I went out to that fair with the boys it was quite warm, but yesterday it was cold and I think today will be the same.

As I do up my laces and pull on my blazer with the pretty blue trim someone knocks on my door.

"Wake up" he says and I look at the door, realising something.

I walk over and open it. Waiting for me is Carden, crossed arms staring back at me.

"You were already up huh?" He asks.

I look back at him in his uniform, actually looking at him in it properly for the first time. He looks smart and rich with the blazer on, forgetting the jumper to go under it and then the tie and shirt. With his arms crossed the look he gives off is smart and probably rude, he also fits his 'player' tag that he seems to have in his uniform.

His look changes to a smirk as he looks down at me "and here I was hoping to see you in your nightie"

I squint my eyes at him and blush a little "you can go eat, you don't have to wait for me"

"Maybe I will eat" he says, stepping closer to me.

I step back and he chuckles.

"Scared Princess?" He asks.

"No duh, you are a vampire, and you just said that you want to drink my blood right now" I say, crossing my own arms.

He holds his fingers up to his lips and smirks again, looking me up and down happily. Rather than a look of hunger he looks happy and interested and I bite my lip as he looks down at me.

"What?" I ask, making an uncomfortable and annoyed expression.

"Nothing" he smiles, as in, actually smiles.
