I was not one of the people to go out to do the shopping, thankfully Carden was though, so I didn't have to deal with the awkwardness that it seems only I had been feeling anyway and now I can actually socialise with other human males.

"So..." Daniel begins, immediately turning something that could have been normal into an awkward situation, "You have a boyfriend huh?"

Um. What?

"Is that really an ice breaker?" Zoe asks.

"Sorry, I'm interested," he says, "As far as I know she never had a boyfriend, there was only Tom."

"Tom?" Zoe asks me.

"Uh yeah, that was a thing at one point," I tell her, "And yes Daniel I do have one, what of it?"

"Just interesting, now I know how hot you have to be to qualify," he says.

I glare at him, "Shut up. Why does everyone say that? Living with a person for six months and getting to know them over that time means nothing apparently," I snap.

"Woah sorry," he says.

"Are you an idiot?" Javier asks his friend.

"He is," Zoe answers.

"Anyway," I say, pulling on a tight smile, "Since we're asking relationship questions now, whats with you and Anne?"

"What?" he asks.

"You're awfully close now" I say.

"Nothing really," he answers.

"Right," I say, sighing.

I don't feel like socialising after all. I get up and look at the other 6 people in the room.

"Well I'm gonna go check out my cabin," I say, "See you later."

I walk out the door to my left, a large glass sliding door that leads out to the beach. I can see the cabins from the deck and walk down and out to them. The girls said that we have cabin 1, which is on the end of the boardwalk/decking that the cabins are all attached to, closest to the open beach and furthest from the house. With they key I was given from Zoe I unlock the door and step inside the space. The walls are white but the room has accents of blue all through. To my right is the small dining table for two against the wall and then a couch and TV, to my left was a kitchen with a bench at the further side with two chairs.

There's two doors across on the other wall, one in the left corner and one on the right half. I walk over the the left one first. It's a toilet. Great. Next is the bedroom including the queen bed, and to the right of that is the bathroom with a shower/tub, large vanity and of course, toilet. I check the drawers of the bathroom just for the sake of it, actually, I check all the drawers and cabinets throughout the cabin. There's the general kitchen utensils, nothing in the fridge, and remotes on the side tables beside the couch.

I sigh, going back into the bedroom and lying down. Hopefully things will get better than this. We will have fun. I have to have fun. Rolling over I run my hand over the duvet in thought. Carden will be sleeping here too. And... There's that too. I sigh and close my eyes, although its still day I'm so tired. I don't know how, I slept for most of the drive and got enough sleep last night. Urgh.

"Hey. What're you doing sleeping?"

I open my eyes, blinking a few times before properly looking up at Carden in the doorway. He's leaning against the door-frame, his arms folded as he looks across the blue room at me with an unfazed look on his face.

"Sorry, I'm just tired," I say, pulling my phone out of my pocket and checking the time, "I slept for a little while"

"Yeah," he says, "I brought the bags in by the way."

"Thanks," I say, rolling onto my back and staring at the ceiling.

"You finished on Tuesday right?" he asks.

"What?" I ask, raising my head and feeling my double chin make its appearance, "Oh."

My period. That stupid thing.

"Are you still angry at me?" he asks.

"I guess not," I say, "Do you know why I was angry?"

"Please inform me, I'm not yet fully qualified to be an Eva whisperer," he says.

I roll my eyes, "You shouldn't have done anything if you knew you'd have to stop."

He chuckles and I sit up, glaring at him.

"Well next time it wont stop, hows that?" he asks, his trademark smirk making its way to his lips.

I blush but answer anyway, "Good."

"So are we gonna go join the others for fish and chips? Zoe and Sam are probably back by now," he says.

"They went by themelves?" I ask.

"They went with Greyson and Penny," he tells me.

"I suppose I will get up," I say, though I don't move, instead, after a couple seconds sitting, I drop back down onto the bed, "But its so comfy."

He walks over, grabbing my hand and tugging, "Get up."

"No, bring food to me," I say.

"You are so spoilt," he says ,"Get up or I'll kiss you."

"I don't care, go ahead," I say, I mean, where's the punishment in that? Then my stomach grumbles.

He chuckles.

"I guess I'm hungry," I say, sitting up with him still holding my hand.

"Lets go then," he smiles.

I prefer his smile. But of course his smirk is his thing. His smile is mine though, so I cant help liking it more. We walk out, locking the door and making our way back across the deck and sand and back up the steps to the house, entering through that same sliding glass door. Inside they have just gotten back and are setting up the fish and chips on the large coffee table in the equally large living room. Some of them spot us as we walk in, including Anne.

"Where'd you go?" she asks.

"She was sleeping," Carden says before I can even open my mouth to answer.

She chuckles.

"Are you really that tired?" she asks.

"Guess nobodies getting any tonight," Greyson says.

Penny shoots him a glare and he laughs.

"But you said so yourself," he says, still laughing as I shake my head and sit down.

"And you think Carden is an idiot," she says, shaking her head as she looks at me.

"When did you say that?" Carden asks me.

"Yesterday," I mutter as I grab some chips and pour out some sauce for myself.

He rolls his eyes at me as I eat and glance at him.

"Don't forget your promise," I say.

He chuckles, "I wont."

"Whats the promise?" Kyla asks.

"Cant say," I tell her.

"So whats the plan for tomorrow?" Javier asks.

"Beach, swimming, relaxing, eating cold things, socialising in general," Anne says.

"Yup, not much, on Friday we are going to the nearby water park, and on the weekend we can split up and go out or not," Zoe says.

"We haven't much sorted out next week yet," Anne says as she cuts up a flake.

Its weird, its like she's taken over Sams role. I look at Sam, who is in between Zoe and Damien. She isn't really listening, instead shes caught up in a conversation with Damien about something that is apparently 'really good'.
