Ch 55: Karma

Hey there.

I've had a very short week. I went to school for Monday, a couple hours on Tuesday and a couple hours on Monday. And now no school till next Wednesday and then no school at all after that.

But. I got my timetable for next year and maths wasn't on it! And also I'm not going to have any breaks on Thursdays! AND the email they provided to message about a problem like not having a subject, DIDN'T WORK. I tried sending an email from my main, my school one, and my parents and they were all not getting delivered, getting rejected.

Idiots.

So I have maths now. But I still have to change around my classes so that my life won't be a living hell next semester.

Anyway! Get ready for this one!

I put my phone down and glance at the doorway, they're gone now. This house is different to the Leandro house. This house is the Killian house and it's a little smaller, but I personally love it's kitchen. It's  very big and spacious, a lot like Selenes. The room I'm in is a bit smaller but it's not like it matters, as long as I can sleep. Which hasn't been as difficult recently. I get the feeling that being anaemic wasn't helping my sleep before. But now I feel better, especially since I haven't come into contact with Heartigan for two weeks. Unless you count that time.

He's probably going to want to meet soon though. I don't want to see him. I have to tell Carden. I have to tell people. Before I realise it, tears are welling up in my eyes. Why did this have to happen to me?

"Why?" I utter.

"Uh Eva" Zoe is at my door, a worried look on her face.

I sniffle and wipe my shameful tears "yes?"

"Dinners ready" she says.

"Okay" I say.

"I'm always here if you need to talk" she says.

"I know, I'm sorry, I can't talk about it right now" I say.

"Okay" she smiles to me sweetly "come down when you're ready"

That feeling of oncoming doom that I had last night was really a premonition after all. Because today Hayden has approached me and told me to meet with him after school today. I smiled and said yes, after all, Zoe was there.

"Hey" he smiles at me as I'm leaving and find him standing outside.

"Hi" I say.

"We're going somewhere special today" he says as he begins to walk toward his car.

"Where?" I ask.

"You'll see"
