"Why isn't carden swimming?" Anne asks.

"He just doesn't feel like it at the moment," I say, joining her as she gazes across at him, who is watching us.

He waves and I wave back with a smile as I feel Nates hand on my stomach.

"I'll just take advantage of his girlfriend then," he says, sticking his chin on my shoulder and staring at Carden, who now looks annoyed.

"She still chose me!" Carden yells at him and he chuckles as I shove him away and Anne grabs onto his shoulders, trying to push him under the water but he trumps her.

"No!" she yells as he picks her up and then drops her back into the water.

He laughs as she slaps him in the chest. We've gotten further into the water and now the water reaches my shoulders. Nate ducks under the water as Anne floats, swimming in circles and comes up under her, poking her back and making her jump. He laughs and ducks back under, when he comes back up he is gripping onto her legs and pulls her down before coming back up with her on his shoulders.

"Oh my god Nate put me down!" she yells.

I chuckle and glance out at the beach. Carden is still just watching us, I can see Penny and Greyson sitting together under an umbrella and I see Sam and Damien in the crowd going somewhere. Zoe, Garret, Kyla and Javier are not too far off from us, playing beach volleyball and Taylor is under an umbrella on her phone. I watch as Greyson and Penny get up, walking toward the water before, without him noticing, Penny turns back. When he notices he runs after her, sweeping her up and not letting up as she squirms in his arms the closer they get to the water.

"Let me go! I will never go in!" she yells, her dramatics making me laugh.

"You will!" he says as he tosses her into the water once they are far enough in.

She lands and after a second comes back up, storming over to him soaking wet, her hair pulled back away from her face and a glare present.

"I will kill you," she mutters.

"Mhm," he smiles, "You do that Honey."

He begins to walk past her, grabbing her hand and pulling her along.

"I hate you," she groans as she succumbs.

"Uh-huh," he says as he leads them into the water.

Now that belongs in a movie, or an anime, I want to see that with cool angles in something. I want to watch that again. I just want that. I glance back across to Carden, who is now missing from the space I left him. I search through as far as I can see and find him walking into the crowds toward the food stalls.
