After an agonising class with Greyson having to get me up to speed, I now have a free period. And I have no idea what to do with it. I had free periods the other week too and I just kind of sat around in the cafeteria or the library. Today I have no clue what to do. As I'm walking through the halls to my locker to get out my stuff someone calls out to me.

"Eva! Hey!" Two girls from that group earlier come over to me,  looking very happy.

"Hi" I say, not knowing what else I could at the moment.

"What do you have now?" They ask me.

"A free period" I say.

"Awesome! Wanna hang out with us?" the other asks.

"What are you gonna be doing?"  I ask,  not really wanting to be involved in anything weird.

"We usually just go get some food or drinks at the cafe" one tells me.

"What cafe?" I'm confused as I haven't seen any cafe at the school, so I have no idea what they could be talking about.

"It's in a little shopping district that's not far from here" she says.

"So do you wanna go?" The other asks and I look to see if there is any of that eagerness that the read headed girl had when she asked me.

I can't find any hidden in their eyes, so I go against my better judgement and say yes.

"Sure"

...

We leave the school after I get my stuff. They told me about the awesome coffee at this place and that just across the road there was an awesome clothing store that I've never heard of. I learn that they're names are Zoe and Sam, they look really alike, with the same brown, almost auburn hair and eyes of green colour and the same sort of prominent, cheerful looking cheekbones and they seem attached at the hip. They also mention Lilly as we are heading down the road.

"So you are hanging out with famous people huh?" Zoe says.

"Not famous for any good reason though" Sam adds.

"Sometimes I feel bad for her, people can get really jealous" Zoe replies.

"Like Taylor"

"Yeah"

"But you also hang out with a famous group of five" Sam says, directing her comment to me.

"Huh?" I finally break into the conversation, having some sort of idea what they're talking about but still wanting clarification.

"The Leandro house has the most popular people, or vampires, living in it" she explains.

"Except Nate, who is like the human equivalent of Seth" Zoe says.

"And a couple other people" Sam adds.

I raise an eyebrow a little at the comment, knowing the distinctive differences between the two. I've barely even known them that long. But I know they are definitely different. While Nate is a friendly guy who is fun-loving and warm hearted. Seth seems to revolve around the fun-loving, he would probably be a class clown but I don't think people really use that phrase.  That's a simple difference. Another is that when I brought a peanut butter sandwich to school, Nate said he hated peanut butter while Seth angrily accused him of treason.

We arrive at a cute cafe in a very quiet and quaint small old towny place. I would say 'part of town' but I don't even know whether this place is called a town or whether it has a city type of district or anything. It is so kept away in forest-like areas that it's hard to tell how much 'town' there even is.
