A/N + Quick Update, Because I'm a Stupid Bean

I may have uploaded a chapter, then realised that that chapters events did not happen until another couple chapters. Then I noticed that the second chapter, ch 69, that I uploaded the other day, was incorrect. I had changed the situation from it being that she's nervous to that she was on their period and that's why he stopped. Its important that you read this, I will update the chapter with the new stuff but I'll pop it in here too so you don't have to go back and read it, it'll be right here.

Wait. Is this happening now? My heads been so clouded. It this actually happening?

"Carden" I mumble, squeezing my eyes shut with the nerves and the heat running through me. The word falling from my lips without me even meaning to say it.

That's when he groans heavily, glancing at me and taking his hands away. He sits up and looks away from me, putting a hand over his mouth and then running it through his hair.

"What?" I ask, awestruck "why did you stop?"

"Because" he says.

"Uh-" I almost make a grab for him, the thought running through my mind about asking him to continue.

"You're on your period" he tells me, urgh.

Stupid period. But even so, this was really sudden, so I'm nervous. But his back currently turned on me is also making me feel a little rejected.

"So what do I do then?" I ask, confused.

How do I act natural now that we almost just did it? That we just did all of that. And that he stopped halfway.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"What do I do now? What do I say? You just stopped halfway and now it's awkward" I say.

He sighs "I'll just-"

He looks at me finally and his eyes go from low and narrowed to widened and a flash of surprise is what I think I see for a moment.

"Come here" he says.

I lean closer and he kisses me once more, normally. When he stops I'm left with disappointment. My body is still on a high of ecstasy and that is not satisfactory for the current lust filled me.

Nevertheless he tries to smile and gets up "I'll see you tomorrow okay?"

What?

"Okay"

And he leaves. Just like that. What did he come over for?! Why did he leave me hot and bothered like this? That's not fair! But he couldn't do anything. Stupid Cockblocking period.

I groan and grab a pillow, shoving my face into it and screaming once I hear the front door close.

"Idiot!" I call "idiot idiot idiot!"

God. Now I'm just filled with pure anger toward him.

Idiot.

"Kill me" I sat to Penny and Nate.

"Why?" She asks.

"I'm too embarrassed to talk to Carden, everything is awkward and he's trying to act like nothing happened and meanwhile I'm fuming in anger because my period is so stupid" I rant, my anger slowly rising to the surface.

"What happened?" Nate asks, causing my gaze to flicker to him in surprise and denial.

Now I can't say it.

"Everything!" I say "what I've been anxious about all week"

"Oh that" Penny says.

"I'm going to assume the twins told you" I say to her, my face void of emotion.

"Yeah" she says "wait so what happened?"

"Nate" I glance at him, "I don't want you to hear this please"

"Fine" he says, getting up and walking away for a moment.

"He stopped halfway" I say immediately.

"What? Why?" She asks.

"Because I was on my period" I groan "it's so annoying"

"Wow that's awkward" she says.

"Exactly!" I exclaim and wave mate back over "after worrying about whether I was even wanting any of that for so long, and then finally deciding yes, that happens"

"He needs a scolding, what an absolute idiot. He shouldn't have even started if you are on your period" Penny says.

I sigh and spread my upper half over the cool table.

"Maybe it was a blood thing" she says "that made him do it in the first place"

"So are we agreeing here about Carden being an idiot?" Nate asks.

"Mhm" I mope.

"I'm on board"
