Ch 66: Forest Princess

Hi there peoples.

I gotta be honest, I've been slacking off with this book recently, of course I love it, but I've been so obsessed with the other one that it's taken a back seat. Of course I'll still update, but I'm getting closer to where I'm up to, so I have to pick up my game. 

Don't worry, there's still quite a few chapters before the part I'm currently writing, but I just wanted to be honest.

This other book is going to be great tho, I'm planning on wrapping up the ending hopefully relatively soon, and then I'll consult and edit with my friend, then we'll finally upload it :)

"It's Penny!" 

Greysons voice projects loudly through the room as Penny stands frozen in place next to him and we sit at our table, barely able to understand the situation.

"What?!" Zoe yells in shock and people look at her, including Penny and Greyson.

"That's right my friends, we kept it a secret from you this whole time!" He says in an announcer's voice, a large grin on his face. He turns back to Penny "now, time to steal the princess away. Good talking with you guys!"

He places her mask back on and she begins to protest as he reaches under her legs and lifts her up Princess style.

"Greyson put me down!" She yells at him.

The crowd laughs a little bit mostly erupts into chatter as they make it off stage.

"Those little shits" Zoe exclaims as they leave.

I can't help but laugh in shock at it "and I've been hanging out with her almost every day" I say before I'm struck with realisation "that's what she meant by 'we' the other day, oh my god"

"What?" Sam asks.

"Nothing" I smile.

"Tell us what you know!" Zoe demands and I giggle.

"No!" I deny "but she's hiding even more than we've been told"

"This explains a lot" Carden says "how much they've been talking and how casual they've been together"

"The fact that they both stayed late and left together when we all hung out a while back, do you think it goes that far?" I ask "and also how Greyson knew about our kiss so quickly"

Carden chuckles "they hid it pretty well"

"I wonder whether they'll ever be willing to come back and face Zoe's rage" Sam asks as she laughs at Zoe and her angry frown.

"I just can't believe it" I say as I process the information I know that still had yet to be revealed.

They must have been together for a while if I'm right about this.

I wonder if...

No.

Nope.
