After half an hour I left Chell and went to Cardens classroom to find him. His class had yet to get out so I stood outside and waited.

As I pressed my back to the wall I took deep breaths to try and calm my nerves. I closed my eyes and felt them begin to soothe before the light behind my lids darkened and I felt claustrophobic. I opened them back up and met eyes with none other than Hayden.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"I need to talk to him, it has nothing to do with you or... him" I say "it's completely unrelated"

"I can't let you do that" he says "especially not right now" he says, placing a hand on my cheek to make sure no one got the right idea, leading everyone astray.

"I haven't recovered yet, I still need a few more days, he can't do it today" I say.

The door to the classroom opens and out come the students.

"He wants you, right now" he says.

"Tell him to go fuck himself" I spit.

"Don't think just because it's me I don't have the authority to have anything done to you" he says.

"I'm not going, I still need to recover" I say.

He grabs my hand just as he eyes Carden coming out the door and he begins to pull me back down the hall.

"Hayden please" I say "please I don't want to go"

I try to remove his hand without making a scene of it.

"I can't let you go" he says.

"Please" my breathing starts to get increasingly difficult to do, making me feel like I'm having an attack.

My throat feels like it's closing up as he leads me downstairs and my vision blurs.

"Please" I say, trying not to let a single tear fall.

"Don't cry, it'll be obvious" he says, turning around and smiling lovingly at me as he wipes my eyes.

It makes me feel like I'm going to puke. No one can hear what he's saying, they probably think we are having some sort of lovers spat.

"Hayden, please don't make me go" I say, gripping onto his shirt and staring him in the eyes pleadingly, hopelessly.

"I'm sorry Eva" he says.

He turns back around and continues to pull me downstairs, suddenly an arm wraps around my front and a hand grabs my free wrist, pulling me back. It catches Hayden off guard and he accidentally lets go of my hand.

"Don't touch her" I hear Carden growling behind me, making me soothe back into his warm body, holding me and making me think I never want him to let go.
