But. I hope you think it's a well written chapter. I won't say I hope you like it. Because it's not something to like. But yeah. I really wanted to do a magical laugh once shit went down but after reading this chapter I'm not sure its appropriate. Anyway.

When I return, the door slams open, they could tell I was here. They knew because they have what he has. That same craving that made him do this. It makes me sick.

Carden immediately rushed to tackle Hayden to the ground, moving too fast for my eyes to even process. I suppose I was gone a while. I had seen the texts on my phone. Somehow even Anne knew I was missing.

Meanwhile, as Carden beat Hayden's face in and I gave negative 100 shits about it, Seth rushed over and carefully pulled me inside. I could hear Hayden trying to say his scripted excuse in between punches. I didn't care, though I should. I was too hurt to follow those orders straight away.

I was sat on a couch in the living room, all of Seths questions were muffled, and I didn't want to answer them. He got up from his seat and sat next to me, taking my hand and bringing my attention back. I flinched and snapped my hand away. I didn't want him near me.

"Eva, what happened?" He asks me.

I was kidnapped. Drained. Drugged.

"I was exhausted after the park, my foot hurt, Hayden lived nearby, I slept over, don't worry" I say, trying to smile.

"You sound like death" he says.

"Sorry I'm just really tired" I say.

"Why did you let me beat him up if that's the case?" Cardens words pieced into my skin.

"Because, he tried to make a move on me, but it's okay now that you've done that" I explain, my smile as fake as some cheap acrylics.

"Right" he says, wiping a drop of blood oozing from a scratch on his face.

I felt sick at the sight of it, and as he licked it off his finger I might as well have thrown up.

I got up and left immediately at the sight of it. I can't be in this house right now, I have to go somewhere else. Even if that's just what he wants me to do, I can't live with them.

"Are you okay? You were missing for 27 hours" Zoe asks me.

"I'm fine" I lie, smiling.

I've been covering the marks all day, and yesterday they did it for me. I had to put small band aids and lots of makeup to blend it in, and then also hide it with my shirt.

"I have I favour though" I say "I was uh, rejected by Carden, and I just can't be in that house at the moment, do you think I could live with you guys or something?"
