At six in the evening, Ethan and Sophia came out of the traffic police station.

Sophia's expression was very embarrassed.

In order to get lenient treatment, as soon as she entered, she took the responsibility on herself.

She didn't mention Ethan grabbing the steering wheel at all and said she was willing to take full responsibility, pay compensation, and even go to jail if necessary.

But the traffic police looked at her strangely and told her and Ethan that they had no responsibility at all.

The cause of the accident was the front tire of the dump truck bursting due to aging.

The traffic police also showed the surveillance video and praised Ethan's quick decision.

If Ethan hadn't escaped from the original place in time, they would have been crushed to death.

Sophia was dumbfounded.

She found that she not only wrongly blamed Ethan but also owed him a thank you.

If it weren't for Ethan, she might have died.

Getting into the BMW, Sophia originally wanted to apologize, but her pride held her back.

She finally snorted and said, "Fortunately, the accident has nothing to do with you, otherwise you would have to go to jail for a long time."

Ethan was used to the Thompson family's tough attitude.

"I understand. I'll be more careful next time."

Sophia's taking the blame for him earlier made Ethan's heart soften. No matter how much Sophia looked down on him, she still protected him in her heart.

Then he gently stroked the black box in his hand.

The box fell out of the Audi, the one with the code 9981. Scarlet called specifically and asked the traffic police to give the box to Ethan.

She also asked Ethan to be sure to accept it.

Ethan didn't hesitate too much. Cici's life was worth a gift.

Thinking of Cici, Ethan was a bit worried. A ray of white light had barely repaired Cici's soul, but it was not enough to help her through the danger.

He planned to go and see the little girl tomorrow.

Hearing Ethan's words, Sophia turned the steering wheel and left. "You're finally maturing."

Ethan took his eyes off the distance and took advantage of Sophia's good mood to say,

"Sophia, actually I wasn't lying. You have an evil spirit in you and a bloody disaster. The accident is proof..."

He reminded her, "You'd better throw away the amulet."

"Shut up!"

Sophia's face darkened immediately. "Can you stop talking nonsense?"

"This is the amulet my mother got for me during the trip. Are you saying my mother wants to harm her daughter?"

Ethan quickly waved his hands. "I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that my mother might also have been tricked..."

"Forget it. When we go on a trip, we don't know anyone. Who would bother to trick the Thompson family?"

Sophia ended the topic impatiently. "The accident was an accident. The bloody disaster is nonsense."

"You don't have to tell me this again, otherwise get out of my car."
