"What a small world."
Ethan teased, but he didn't pay any more attention to them. He ordered his food and started chatting with Ricky.
"Bang—"
Halfway through their conversation, the glass door swung open again. A group of swaggering, arrogant men and women strode in.
Noticing the gazes from other patrons, they straightened their backs even more, their egos visibly inflating.
Leading the group was a man who looked about thirty years old and was, quite simply, beautiful.
Yes, beautiful, not handsome.
He had a delicate oval face, rosy lips, pearly white teeth, and features so exquisite they bordered on enchanting.
If he wore long hair and light makeup, he'd be more stunning than most women.
However, his charming face bore an irreverent expression, and his narrow eyes sparkled with a sinister gleam.
With exaggerated gestures, the beautiful man waved his hand, and his entourage followed him to a large table.
Ricky's eyelid twitched as he whispered to Ethan, "Ethan, that's Liam Collins, the young master of Oceanic Bank and chairman of Dragon Pharmaceutical."
Ethan glanced over and was surprised to see the man who had been giving Sabrina Barker such a headache.
At that moment, a few waiters hurriedly greeted him, "Good evening, Mr. Collins."
Liam Collins didn't even look at them, striding forward confidently. Then, halfway to his table, he suddenly stopped, his gaze landing playfully on Alexander.
"Well, if it isn't little Alex. I heard you were sick. How come you're not dead yet?"
"Seeing me, shouldn't you at least say hello?"
He walked up to Alexander with his entourage, sneering, "Or do you just hate the sight of me?"
"No... no..."
To Ethan's surprise, the usually arrogant Alexander was bowing and scraping like a frightened lamb:
"I didn't see you... I'm sorry, Mr. Collins."
Alexander forced a smile, but no one present was fooled. His reluctance was painfully obvious.
"Tsk tsk, didn't see me? Are you blind?"
Liam Collins grinned wickedly and pinched Alexander's cheek, toying with him like he was a plaything:
"Come on, smile for me."
The once cocky Alexander stood there passively, forcing an awkward smile, his pride shattered.
The contrast was stark—Alexander looked as helpless as a scared child.
Although his family was wealthy and influential among his peers, they were nothing compared to Liam Collins.
"That's the ugliest smile I've ever seen."
Liam slapped Alexander's face playfully: "You really don't want to see me, do you?"
"No... no... I'm absolutely thrilled to see you, Mr. Collins."
Alexander's face flushed with embarrassment and fear as he stammered, "I... I was just overwhelmed..."
"Overwhelmed? Good."
Liam laughed arrogantly, clearly enjoying Alexander's humiliation.
Then his eyes gleamed as he looked at Isabella and Lily, both of whom were stunningly beautiful:
