"Bang—"
In an instant, Ethan kicked Hanson Zacher to the ground.

"Ah—"
Hanson rolled four or five meters, crashing into a few companions before finally stopping.
One of his ribs fractured, and though he clenched his teeth in pain, a line of blood trickled from his mouth

The speed and precision of Ethan's movements were astounding.
So much so that no one among the dozens of spectators saw what had happened.

Carolyn and Joyce were left wide-eyed and slack-jawed, frozen in disbelief.

Ethan, however, didn't stop. Stepping forward, he planted his foot on Hanson's leg.
"Apologize sincerely, or this leg won't be yours anymore."

"Ah, you bastard..."
Hanson screamed in agony. The excruciating pain coursing through his body made him wish for death.

"Not very cooperative."
With the room plunged into stunned silence, Ethan calmly applied more pressure, snapping Hanson's leg with a sickening crack.

Then, he shifted his foot to Hanson's other leg.

"This..."
Carolyn and Joyce gasped, their mouths hanging open.

Even surrounded by over a dozen people, including three burly bodyguards, Ethan's audacity was unfathomable. Was he insane?

Even Sophia furrowed her brows, feeling a chill run down her spine at Ethan's sheer audacity.
On the other hand, Ricky's face glowed with admiration and excitement.

"You bastard, release Mr. Zacher!"
Hanson's entourage shouted, ready to rush forward.

The three bodyguards brandished their batons, taking menacing stances.
Ricky grabbed a nearby wine bottle and stood defiantly beside Ethan.

"Anyone who takes one step closer," Ethan warned coldly, "and Hanson's other leg is gone."

The simple declaration froze the room in place.

Hanson's men, despite their anger and clenched weapons, hesitated under the weight of Ethan's terrifying presence.

The air in the room grew heavy, as if it carried a chilling edge, suffocating those present.

"You punk," Hanson growled, suppressing his pain, "don't you realize you won't leave this club alive tonight?"
"Not only will I deal with you, but the Four Seas Chamber of Commerce won't spare you either."

"The Four Seas Chamber of Commerce?" Ethan's expression remained calm, a faint smile on his lips. "Interesting."

Hanson sneered, his tone dripping with disdain:
"This is the Four Seas Chamber of Commerce's venue, managed by Ms. Rong."
"If I'm in trouble, you're in trouble. Everyone here will be in trouble."

His words weren't just a warning for Ethan but also a veiled threat for Sophia and the others.

Hanson Zacher's business wasn't construction like his family's company. Instead, he thrived in usury, targeting women—schoolgirls, office workers, anyone in need.
A loan of 20,000 would snowball into 800,000. He had no qualms about pulling entire families into debt.

Hanson's predatory schemes had made him a fortune, emboldening his arrogance and disregard for others.

"You've crossed a line, Ethan." Carolyn's voice was sharp with frustration. "This was a small issue, and now you've blown it out of proportion. Do you have any idea what you've done?"

Ethan's voice was icy:
"When I do things, I don't need your advice or interference."

"How dare you?" Carolyn retorted angrily. "Your actions will drag everyone down with you, including Sophia and her family."

"Sophia won't be affected, and neither will her family," Ethan replied confidently.
"Ricky and the others will also be fine."

Joyce glared at Sophia. "Sophia, are you just going to stand there? If you don't stop Ethan, we're all doomed because of him!"

Sophia remained silent. Though unsure of Ethan's intentions, she chose to stand by him.

At that moment, the sound of clicking heels echoed outside the door.

A group of uniformed security guards entered, flanking a stunning, glamorous woman in her thirties.
Her figure was captivating, her every movement exuding charm.

This was Ms. Rong, the manager of the club.

"Oh my, Mr. Zacher, what happened here? Who had the audacity to lay a finger on you?"
Ms. Rong's voice was sweet yet sharp, each word laced with menace.
"Whoever it was, step forward now."

She glanced at Ethan, clearly aware of the situation but feigning ignorance.

Ethan met her gaze and asked calmly, "Are you from the Four Seas Chamber of Commerce?"

"That's right. I'm the manager here. People respectfully call me Ms. Rong."
Her smile remained, but her tone was icy.
"Young man, fighting is strictly forbidden here. You've caused a major incident tonight."

Ethan chuckled faintly. "Aren't you interested in who started it? Who threw the first punch?"

Ms. Rong hesitated for a moment, then smirked mockingly:
"Of course, you're at fault."

"Oh, I'm at fault?"
Ethan's smile widened, his voice carrying a chilling edge.
"You decided I'm wrong without any investigation?"

His gaze swept over Ms. Rong and the others, his eyes sharp as blades.
The onlookers felt a wave of unease under Ethan's cold scrutiny.

Ms. Rong's playful expression faltered, replaced by irritation.
"In this place, my word is final. If I say you're wrong, then you're wrong."

Ethan nodded slightly. "Fair enough. Hearing you say that, I believe your position as manager is no longer necessary."

Carolyn and Joyce were stunned, their faces filled with disbelief.
What gave this young man the gall to disregard Ms. Rong and the powerful entity behind her?

Ms. Rong scoffed disdainfully. "You think you can make me lose my job? Go ahead, try."

She waved her hand, and a dozen security guards stepped forward, weapons raised, two of them holding makeshift shotguns.

"You're done for, kid," Hanson sneered through gritted teeth, his expression sinister.

Carolyn and Joyce smirked gleefully, eager to see Ethan meet his downfall.

Ethan didn't flinch. Instead, he calmly wrote a number on a slip of paper and handed it to Ms. Rong.
"You have one minute to figure out the situation. Then decide your stance."

Ms. Rong glanced at the paper and the familiar number written on it, her smile faltering.
She hesitated but ultimately took out her phone to make the call.

"Hello, this is Victor Blacke."

Ms. Rong's hand trembled.
A wave of terror surged through her heart.
