"Ah—"
Sitora and the others gasped in shock, utterly stunned. No one could have imagined that Ethan would dare to strike so ruthlessly.
After all, River Traum was the manager of Dragon Pharmaceutical, and his brother, Major Traum, was second only to Victor Blacke in power. Was Ethan insane or just plain foolish to stab someone like that?
What terrified them even more was that Ethan didn't stop after stabbing River; instead, he twisted the knife sharply.
His movements were vicious.
River watched in horror as the fruit knife turned half a circle inside him, causing him to scream uncontrollably.
"Ah—"
At that moment, he truly felt the fear of death.
Not just River, but everyone present, including the club's brawny security guards, felt a chill run down their spines.
None of them dared to look Ethan in the eye.
They were seasoned individuals who had seen their fair share of violence and had even crippled people before. Yet, they had never witnessed such ruthless stabbing as Ethan displayed.
Ethan slowly pulled out the knife, and River immediately collapsed to the ground.
"You idiot... I'm River Traum... I'm the manager of Dragon Pharmaceutical... My brother is Major Traum..."
His entire world crumbled.
This was exactly the effect Ethan wanted.
For scum like him, the options were either to eliminate them entirely or to scare them senseless. Otherwise, they would keep coming back for more.
"I'll say this once: Sophia is my woman. If you dare to bully her, I'll take your life."
Ethan wiped the fruit knife on River's face. "Well? Any last words?"
His coldness sent a shiver through the entire room.
"It's not my fault! Not my fault!"
River's mental state completely broke as he screamed hysterically:
"It was Liam Collins! He told me to tempt Sophia with the secret formula. He wanted me to get her no matter the cost."
"He promised me ten million dollars and thirty percent shares of the new product if I did it."
"Liam Collins is the mastermind. He's the one who wants to harm Sophia."
River spilled everything, shaking like a leaf. "Take it out on him! I won't dare to cross you again."
Betraying someone was disgraceful, but River knew that if he didn't beg for mercy, he might not survive the night.
"Liam Collins?"
Ethan's eyes narrowed as he pulled back the bloodied fruit knife.
"So, it was that bastard... Seems like I was too lenient last night."
"Fine. I'll spare your life tonight."
Upon hearing this, River's body went limp as he collapsed to the ground, crying like a three-year-old.
Ethan then slowly approached Sitora.
Seven or eight security guards tried to stand in his way.
Ethan said one word, calmly: "Move."
The towering security guards shivered. They wanted to respond but were too terrified to speak, ultimately stepping aside like frightened birds.
Sitora, usually arrogant and high above others, looked pale. She wanted to maintain her usual pride but couldn't withstand Ethan's gaze.
