Alexander was in a miserable state at this moment.
However, Ethan merely glanced at him coldly, without a shred of sympathy. What Alexander was experiencing today was merely karma.
He continued cutting his steak, eating leisurely.
"Ethan—"
Just then, Isabella and Lily's eyes turned cold as they recognized the man who was so at ease—it was Ethan.
Alexander was also momentarily stunned, not expecting to run into Ethan here. A wave of shame quickly followed.
Those who bully others eventually get bullied themselves.
Isabella and Lily clung to Liam Collins's arms, casting sidelong glances at Ethan while whispering quickly.
Before long, Liam approached with his group, a playful, mocking smile on his face.
Alexander thought they were coming to beat him again and scrambled back four or five meters in a panic.
Although he was furious, he knew he couldn't afford to confront them head-on.
"Bang—"
Just as Ethan sensed trouble, Liam casually grabbed a wine bottle and smashed it down on Ethan's table.
Ethan tilted his body to avoid the bottle.
The bottle shattered on the table with a loud crash, spilling wine everywhere and breaking the plates. The steak was now inedible.
Ethan stopped Ricky from rushing forward. "What do you want?"
Liam's leather shoes tapped on the floor as he approached, his smile cold and sinister. "Kid, were you the one who made Isabella and Lily upset?"
Hearing such an intimate way of addressing them, Alexander's face turned even more sorrowful.
Ethan replied indifferently, "Looking for trouble?"
Liam let out a mocking laugh, "Talking to me like that? Aren't you afraid of getting struck by lightning?"
Ethan frowned, "Are you really looking for trouble?"
Before his words faded, several of Liam's companions burst out in anger, shouting:
"Kid, you must be tired of living! Do you even know who's standing in front of you? This is Liam Collins—Young Master Collins!"
"How dare you speak to him like that? Do you want to end up at the bottom of Yellow River?"
Liam waved his hand to silence his group. "Kid, you've got guts, but I like to be reasonable before using force."
"Kneel down now, apologize to Isabella and Lily, pay a million in compensation, and break one of your own hands. If you do that, I won't make things difficult for you."
"If not, I guarantee you won't live to see tomorrow's sunrise."
His face turned vicious as he finished his threat, his expression cruel and menacing.
Isabella and Lily raised their chins disdainfully, finally able to vent their anger from being humiliated by Ethan earlier.
Ethan narrowed his eyes slightly. "Get lost."
"You bastard!"
Liam couldn't hold back anymore. "You won't take the easy way out, huh?"
"Fine, today I'll show you what it means to mess with someone you can't afford to offend."
He gestured with his hand, signaling three bodyguards to step forward.
"Liam Collins, who gave you the guts to mess with my brother?"
