Ethan smiled faintly: "I'm just waiting for business to be handled properly."
Luna Bright linked her arm with Sophia Thompson's: "Sophia, my brother wants him to pay, you mustn't soften and give him money."
Sophia's face showed disappointment: "I won't care about him anymore."
Business is business; Ethan would not just walk away unscathed.
"Whooo—"
It wasn't long before two traffic police arrived in a patrol car.
They inspected the scene, and then asked the two of them to move their vehicles aside to avoid obstructing traffic.
"My time is precious, I don't have time to argue."
Vincent Bright pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and looked at Ethan arrogantly:
"Seeing as it's for Sophia, you take 100,000, I'll handle the rest. Otherwise, you go repair it, and it won't be under 200,000."
He understatedly emphasized the difference between himself and Ethan, whether in wealth or in character.
"Mr. Bright, sorry, but this accident is your full responsibility."
A tall traffic officer spoke politely: "You need to compensate Mr. Ethan for all losses."
Vincent Bright froze, wanting to say that Ethan was in cahoots with the police, but he knew that Ethan didn't have that kind of power, and it was his sister who called the police.
"You scoundrel, we're fully responsible?"
Luna Bright jumped up: "He hit us, and we're responsible? Do you have any brains?"
"A left turn yields to straight traffic, that's the traffic rule."
The tall traffic officer still maintained his politeness:
"Under the green light, you were making a left turn, and Mr. Ethan was going straight. You didn't avoid or observe properly, so you are fully responsible for the accident."
He added: "If you don't agree, you can apply for administrative reconsideration."
Luna Bright angrily shouted: "We were almost finished turning, it was him speeding straight who hit us! It's his fault!"
The traffic officer remained polite: "No matter what, you were the turning vehicle, and Mr. Ethan was going straight. According to traffic regulations, it's your responsibility."
The other smaller traffic officer flipped through the traffic regulations to show the Bright siblings.
The two were furious, but in the end, they had no choice.
In this situation, they were indeed fully responsible.
Sophia Thompson was also slightly stunned, not expecting this outcome.
"Playing such underhanded tricks, you really have some nerve."
Luna Bright held back her anger and sneered at Ethan: "No wonder Sophia doesn't like you."
Sophia's eyelids twitched, and she wanted to speak but didn't know how.
Ethan's expression was steady: "Enough nonsense, pay up."
"Pay up then, if it lets Sophia see how ugly you are, I'll give you the money."
Luna Bright pulled out 10,000 cash and threw it at him: "Just consider it buying medicine for you."
Ethan smiled slightly: "Not enough."
"That's about right, your motorcycle is worth at most 5,000, and it's so shabby."
