Bang—
Just as Tiger Dalton was about to kick Jack Yates, a trash can suddenly flew through the air.
Tiger's expression changed slightly. He crossed his arms in front of him to block the attack.
With a loud crash, the trash can shattered, debris scattering everywhere.
Tiger was forced to take two steps back.
Furious, he shouted, "Who the hell ambushed me?"
Before his men could locate the attacker, a figure charged forward. The muscular men holding Sofia Lopez shuddered violently, stumbling back as if hit by a truck.
Ethan caught the staggering Sofia, then shifted his weight and charged forward again.
Four or five men in black were sent flying.
Jack's predicament was instantly resolved.
"Jack, are you alright?"
Ethan helped Jack to his feet, a hint of apology on his face. He had drunk too much water and stayed too long in the restroom, not expecting to drag Jack into trouble.
"I'm fine, it's not enough to kill me."
Jack gritted his teeth as he stood up. "But someone's about to die."
Illegal weapons, public assault, and the humiliation of being outnumbered—someone was bound to pay a heavy price tonight.
Crack—
Without another word, Ethan reached out and snapped Jack's dislocated arm back into place.
He then turned his cold gaze on Tiger's group. "You mess with my brother? Tired of living?"
"Ethan?"
Tiger finally realized who he was facing, his eyes locking onto Ethan. "You're Ethan?"
Ethan's voice was low. "That's right. You work for River Traum?"
To come at him so quickly and so ruthlessly, Ethan couldn't think of anyone else besides River Traum.
Hearing that name, Jack's eyes flashed with murderous intent.
"Bastard! How dare you speak Mr. Traum's name?"
A muscular man in black roared, grabbing a trash can and hurling it at Ethan.
Bang—
Without even looking, Ethan sidestepped and rammed into the man's chest.
Boom—
The man flew backward, crashing into two other hulking figures.
Whoosh!
Taking advantage of the chaos, Ethan surged forward again, delivering a flying knee strike that sent a massive thug tumbling, taking down several others with him.
Then, he barreled into the crowd, his fists whistling through the air.
Screams, crashes, and shouts echoed relentlessly.
People fell, blood was shed, and more kept rushing in, like moths to a flame.
Ethan rescued Ricky and then sneered as he bent down. With a powerful sweep, he knocked three men off their feet, then sprang up again.
From above, he delivered a fierce elbow strike. A burly man collapsed, his body convulsing on the floor.
Ethan was unstoppable, overwhelming and invincible.
