Denki felt like he was dying.
His morning did not start so great after waking up wrapped up in a blanket like some kind of a burrito and later upon arrival at the trauma centre before he even stepped his foot inside the building his sub supervisor spots him and hands his schedule of the week which was full with duties and no break in between with the exception of lunch and dinner breaks which were mandatory for interns.
Denki sighs again and pulls out his medical chart duties schedule and rechecks it again and while he sips on canned coffee which tasted too bitter to Denki's taste buds making him grimace and bleh at the taste of it but he needed caffeine to power through the already hectic day.
The blue code sound is heard echoing in the nurse station loud and clearly now.
"Crap" says Denki in a panic tone and runs into the surgery room to heal the dying patient.
After long two hours Denki managed to heal the patient after using his healing quirk to the max and the patient heart rate and other vitals return to their normal pattern. The surgeon nods at him and gives him a thumbs up gesture on his efforts at saving the patient
Now Denki with trembling pale fingers which were covered in dried blood now washed his hands in lukewarm water making sure he was getting rid of the blood stuck under his nails and between his fingers thoroughly with a nail brush.
Denki checks his nails again in the neon yellow light of the hospital's washroom and sighs and feels under wave of dizziness hitting him with much force now and his phone ringing makes his migrane much worse then before.
With a shaky breathe Denki answers the call and flinches at the loudness of Bakugou's voice, "Oi, Sunshine what time will you be returning back from the mysterious internship??".
"Please not now ! Your too loud Katsuki-kun" says Denki in a pained voice as he feels his head throbbing from the migrane.
The line on the other side goes quiet. Denki looks at his phone in confusion and says, "Hello?".
"Your voice what is wrong?" asks Bakugou in a much softer tone now.
Denki blinks his eyes and sighs and says, "I am just tired Bakugou-kun. As for when I will return I can't say for sure. I am doing an internship at a trauma centre. It's located around the area where Midoriya-kun is doing his internship. I have to go back now. Bye" says Denki tiredly.
"Oi wait sun-". Denki ends the call before he can hear Bakugou's next sentence.
Denki sighs again and pinches the bridge of his nose to elevate the migraine pain maybe he should have some crispy cold coke. That might help.
Then, suddenly Denki smells the invisible metal scent the blood hitting him and he bends over pukes into the sink and huffs while holding the sides of the sink with his pale fingers. He gripped the sides of the sink so tightly that his Lichtenberg scars popped out against his skin.
Denki huffs as his knees hit the ground he is hit by another wave of dizziness and his vision goes slightly blur. Denki blinks his eyes praying his vision to become clear but it is blurry.
With the in built frustration and pressure makes tears prickle around the corner Denki eyes and sniffs.
"Oh my! Are you okay Miracle Angel?" says a worried voice.
Denki feels two hands pulling him up and helping him stand up.
With the blurry vision, Denki checks the sight of ginger hair dusting his scrubs and the other strong hand holding him up for support.
"Saitama-san" whispers Denki quietly.
It was the nurse who was in charge of both the trauma ward and Denki.
The nurse Saitama stares at Denki for some time and smiles and says, "You look like shit".
Denki chuckles and says softly, "I heard that a lot from my friends".
"Why don't you go out for some fresh air while I cover up some of your slots".
"Is it alright if I go out to get some fresh air?" says Denki with disbelief in his voice.
"Are you forgetting with whom you are speaking to? I am the senior nurse and I make the rules here. I also need to take care of my interns needs. I am very impressed at how you are handling the situation as most of the interns faint at the sight of blood and nasty wounds on the first day" says a proud nurse Saitama.
'That must be because the future innocent Denki who was just 14 years old was pushed into a villain's fight with no knowledge on how to fight and survive and he got the first hand experience of the field since the day he joined class 1-A. So it is no wonder that I am unfazed by everything' thinks Denki to himself.
Saitama pats Denki on the back and gently pushes the boy out of the washroom door and says, "Be back here in one hour okay? and be sure to exit through the emergency stairs cause the sub supervisor is being a real ass since her fourth boyfriend broke up with her" says the nurse Saitama with a a warning tone.
"Hai" replies Denki softly.

The streets outside the hospital were bustling with people. Denki checked his wristwatch again and the time was 11:00am.
'So by now Midoriya must be patrolling around these streets with Togata senpai before everything spirals out of hand when a scared Eri bumps into Midoriya' thinks Denki.
Denki clicks his tongue as how hard it will be to pinpoint the alley from which Eri going to appear from as they were 10 hidden alleys in this area. But he needed to act quickly.
To block out the chatter and moving traffic sounds around him. Denki places one airpod in his ear and plays music on his music app on his phone and starts running around the area searching for the 10 hidden alleys. While the song starts playing in his airpod. The song was called Hell or High Water by Bullet For My Valentine.

Denki managed to cover four alleys with no sight of neither Eri nor Midoriya.
Denki clicks his tongue in frustration while the song was still playing in his right ear.

After a few minutes, Denki reaches the fifth alley feeling out of breathe. He holds the nearest brick wall for support. When he looks in front of him. He freezes in excitement.
There they are!.
Denki catches Midoriya carrying a scared frightened Little Eri covered in bandages in his strong toned arms. He was closely followed by Togata senpai who in pure horror stared at that bastard Chisaki kai beckons them to come closer into the alley and away from the bustling crowd with that creepy beaked mask. He looked scary from where Denki stood.
Denki removes the airpod from his right ear and turns off the music app and sends a quick message to Saitama with his location and message as he logically needed to inform a grown adult if anything goes wrong cause dang that alley already looked creepy from where he stood.
Denki shivers slightly and rubs his arms.
Denki takes a deep breath and walks towards the alley now with the thought, 'I am coming Eri-chan!' .
Denki's golden eyes started to glow brightly with burning determination that he was not going to let Chisaki kai walk off the hook this time that easily.
